Hi there, I'm Nicholas!
I'm not a terribly high-skilled Starcraft player and don't desire to become a professional in any way. I do, however, appreciate knowing how to play the game well. After finding Day[9], watching a ton of his videos, and hearing Team Liquid's name pop up every so often, I figured I had to check this place out.
I'm mostly around here to just talk with other casually competitive players, make some friends, and hopefully have a few awesome people to do some ridiculous comp-stomping action for the ridiculous cooperative achievements!
Outside of Starcraft, I make as much music as I can. You can listen to it on SoundCloud or BandCamp. Bandcamp is only updated with official CD releases, but has the highest quality playback. SoundCloud is all about getting feedback, however, so I put ALL of my demos and finished products on there.
I've recently decided to make programming a bigger part of my life. I go to school for web and software development, so this choice is definitely a positive one for my (hopeful) future career. Since I primarily work with Mac's, I've been trying to teach myself Objective-C as best I can. If you're also a programmer, please do contact me! I'd love to chat about whatever project you're working, see if I can help, and maybe get some advice for my own work.
Please note: my name comes from the super awesome horror/science fiction author H.P. Lovecraft. Of course, it's a fun little pun, but I didn't intend to be saying "LULZ I LOVE TO 'CRAFT CUZ IT'S GREAT." More just that I love Cthulhu.
