If the shipping and extra costs (i know you can't control tax) doesn't get too high i'm definitely getting one, hopefully they won't arrive too soon as my real cashflow doesn't start until ~1 month or so when i start school :D

ohh now i get it. the first batch of TL shirts had mostly sub $10 shipping, then in the second batch they doubled the shipping costs. so yeah i guess people from europe can expect $25+ shipping. good to get this information out there!

1) The poll says uniform? So it's not the shirt that was linked in BW forums but a uniform? Assuming it is in fact uniform not the shirt...pics of uniform? (I'm assuming it would be an ad free one) 2) $25 + shipping...can anyone tell me how much shipping to east coast US would be? 3) Any hopes of SKT uniforms? ^^

Maybe it's different where you're from but I don't think you would get a second look over here for wearing just the shirt. Many people here walk around casually sporting formular 1 or motorcycle gear. I would definitely buy one for $25. I just hope the shipping costs aren't that high, the TL shirt would have been $27 just for shipping. Which is btw totally insane, you can send that for $8 by regular mail.

Well, I live in London (UK) so you could probably walk around with two heads and flames coming out of your ears without getting a second look (although you may get a ticket for unlawful combustion of unknown biological materials in a public space, lol). I don't know, maybe it's because I'm a bit older too - the full trackie outfit full of badges and stripes just seems a bit too poser and a bit too gaudy to be walking around in. You'd have to be a special sort of person to pull it off well, I think. I'd like the idea of a simple t-shirt, mind you.

The wearing the shirt and jacket together wouldn't be very odd, but a fully decked out matching uniform for no reason? As much as I am a progaming/sAviOr fan, I wouldn't wear the full thing. Its like wearing a basketball jersey + the matching shorts + shoes... you don't see it happening off the court. The only people I could see doin that are the rabid sAviOr fans, but I'm pretty sure they wouldn't mind wearing a sAviOr mask around either. edit: You 2 are referring to different things. jgad the full uniform and zatic the shirt only

As long as it is for personal use and not for profit you can go ahead and do it. It would be a lot cheaper than $25 + shipping. Like I said before, I'd only buy if they include all the sponsors logos. You buy a TML jersey and you expect to get the RBK official logo, the maple leafs on the shoulders and pay extra for the number, name on the back, and C or A. I want it to be legit! BTW anyone overseas should expect the shipping fees to well exceed 10 bucks, but what do I know? Perhaps TL is organizing the whole thing to get super discounts again because they're good like that.

BTW if anyone doesn't buy this because they are afraid of being looked on as a nerd, then you shouldn't ever go outside your house, because if you really worry about this, you probably look like a fucking geek+nerd and it isn't a fucking regular tshirt that will make you look 'normal' in the eyes of the society. Geez..! Sometimes I feel like some of you have two faces. One inside the house where you release your nerd side and sings Darth Vader's song, and other when you step out of your house, where you can't let people know you watch Starcraft games at home.

Voted no. (don't get me wrong, it looks cool, but I can't think of ANY situation where I would be able to wear that, seriously, not even at WCG and such. ![]() Edit: Oh, just T-shirt? Why do they call it a "Uniform" then? Either way, just T-Shirt I would buy, but considering the shipping could be more than $15 to Romania, my vote would still be No. I would pay $30-$35 tops.

When I put "CJ Entus Uniform" in google the first search result linked to teamliquid.net and the second one (also linked into team liquid.net) linked to this poll. This is what it says: [Inventory Poll] Would you pay $25 + Shipping for a CJ ETNUS ...Man who the fuck is stupid enough to spend 50 dollars on a CJ entus uniform. Damn I wouldn't pay 50 dollars even for a michael jordan dress, ... www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=75296¤tpage=4 - 59k - 16 hours ago - Cached - Similar pages More results from www.teamliquid.net » Now I know why teamliquid has such strict rules. I was emabressed to read this in a simple search. If I was a sponsor and I saw something like that, there's no way I'd fund future teamliquid events. On a more positive note... Yes, I'd get one. They're pretty cool... if you didn;'t tell people what it was about you could probably go to a nightclub with it

They sure as hell better make more than 100. lol Like I said before, I think they could at the very least sell 500 of them internationally. With 500, there will still be a few people disappointed, but hey! That's why you have to act quick. That should give people more than enough time.

Now I know why teamliquid has such strict rules. I was emabressed to read this in a simple search. If I was a sponsor and I saw something like that, there's no way I'd fund future teamliquid events. Well, to be honest, I can't see any sponsor being that irrational. Anecdotal snippets are not the sorts of things that enter into financial calculations - it's a cold and heartless art. No matter where you go or what you are talking about, there will always be people who like what you do and who don't. Anyone with big money to throw around understands this acutely, I should expect. Either there's a market for something or there isn't, and a market can happily thrive in the face of all kinds of dissent. The question for them isn't so much "How many people won't buy my stuff" as it is "How many people WILL buy my stuff". Most markets are niche markets anyway, so you fully expect that most people won't want to buy a good number of things that other people sell. A quick glance at the poll says that half of TL probably wouldn't buy this shirt - but that ignores the fact that half would. If half is enough to achieve sensible profit, then it makes good business sense to go ahead, regardless of how completely idiotic the other half might think it to be. Worse yet, the more TL bans away the variety of opinions then the less representative of the true situation TL becomes. A sponsor may overestimate the market because of a concerted effort to "puff up one's feathers", if you will. They then over-invest, fail to get the return they expected, and pull out – once bitten twice shy. All this while there may have been a legitimate case for success with perhaps more modest investment. Personal opinion and choice is a powerful market force - if you put a ban on expressing it or you don't it works just the same. I think the goal of anyone seeking investors or sponsors should be to present as accurate and truthful a picture about the state of things as they can. That way you avoid the risk of misleading your early investors and making a name as a bubble of hot air. Better to promise 10 and give 15 than to promise 20 and give 15, yes?

But, then again.. if they're selling them through TL in their shop, that might be problematic.

This is some serious business we're talking about! On another note: CJ should probably limit sales to 2 per person because judging from the responses there are a few people who want to buy a few. Might want to up the number to 600.

Apparently they're getting 100; no more, no less. And apparently it's directly from CJ. I was unaware of this, and I'm pretty sure I read every thread about it and about the contest entirely. I had assumed they were just buying them from Korea, or possibly found a place to make them, so we could order whatever number of each color and size we wanted. With only 100, the smaller sizes and the black ones (50 of each I assume) will disappear within minutes. I just wanted to clarify, so others were not also flooding mods' PM boxes asking them to order more than 100.
