My thoughts exactly.
I really wanted a bigger opponent, like Nate Marquardt, or King Neptune, or Zeus, or Zeus and Fedor, or Fedor on Zeus's shoulders, and they can both punch but only Zeus can kick.

He played weaker opponents. I say BO5 or split the prize.
I wouldn´t call him stupid, but let´s just say he´s unlucky when thinking...

How about a 5 game showmatch instead? Then you dont have loose money floating around, and we get to watch more games. Each won game = $100

so, if the series went Plto 3-2 Fantasy -> plto gets 300 fantasy gets 200
or if say fantasy 5-0 plto -> fantasy gets 500 plto gets nothing (sorry dude )

Bo5. Split the money. Fair and equal. It's quite worth it just for the spectacle.
(that would make Fantasy's 3rd P opponent this sandlot, and FA's first T ... :D )

On the other hand, FA really went above and beyond in this tourney. Giving him the full amount would be quite deserving. While splitting it would undermine some of the other TL reps, who probably prepared just as much as Fantasy did...

edit: Well it appears having not made up my mind, I've made no argument what so ever for either option...what a waste of a post...

Well definately split the prize and more games

Guess FA won more games(or no iono) but then again he had easier opponents.

that's good, they both had 2-1 records, right? this keeps things friendly (they were teammates afterall) but a chance for an interesting showmatch as well.

voted for that as "other", although that might've been what was meant by the bo5/split prize.

I would love to say "FrozenArbiter", but I think both deserve it equally, so a bo5, or "give" it to one of them and split the prize?

both won 2 and lost 1 series, right?

I think in a bo5 Fantasy would get advantage over FA, so a splitted prize would be best in my opinion. I don't know if FA would agree with me in both statements of the last sentence tho hehe.

FA deserves the money but it's hard to argue Fantasy does not also. 250$ each as I don't know how many games FA would pull off from fantasy.

Ya pito deserves it because of his mineral cost vs performance
These sites might be of more use than a StarCraft site, where the majority of posters look on WCIII as the dense misformed fetus produced during Blizzards latest miscarrige.

Well let's make it this way

Fantasy costed 292 minerals.

He beat Pj, FinePix and lost to Sonjjang.

FA costed 128 minerals.

He beat Active, Reason and lost to s2[fOu].

So saying FrozenArbiter had better cost/performance is wrong imo.
It takes a fool to remain sane.

I say split it because it'll also show the korean scene that TL.net isn't just a bunch of favoritists and that we respect a player's work regardless of which nation they're from. =)

Give them 200 each and then let them battle it out for the remaining 100. Sounds fair since they both won 2 and lost one match.

It could be another liquidbition match??

Just splitting it in half would be best, or bo5 with 300 for winner 200 for loser ;p

200 each and a showmatch for the other 100. Both were really good and no point in getting them both really competitive inside the team. Sandlot was mainly supposed to be for fun, rigth?

i dunno about fa's financial situation
but isnt fantasy one of the broke korean practice partners. you have to at least give him something.

but fa played great too, so yea maybe the 300-200 bo5.

AWWWW Frozen Arbiter is so modest. I think just for that he deserves it.

Heh thanks. =) I thought they were both excellent players and put their heart into winning for TL.net. (Granted every member that was left did the same but accomplishment alone speaks for itself as well.)

I think considering the great job they both did the 300/200 bo5 is a great way to go. They were both great gamers and great representatives for the team, and let's face it we all wanna see em go at it. Or hell, split it 250/250 and still make em play the bo5.

Either way, I think fantasy definitely deserves some of the money. But I think FA does too, so I think it's the best solution all around. And we get to see some great games on top of it. Win fucking win, baby.

Not that i care , but nazgul performance seemed cooler than both of these 2 from what i saw.

And fantasys skill level seemed probably 5 times higher than FA's skill level , but thats just my opinion...they both performed very well anyhow.
But im sure FA got more votes cause he is pretty liked on this site.

I see splitting the money between them as the most fair option. Both did well, and each of them should get a piece of it. FA is tl.net´s very own, but giving away the whole price to him based just on that is dumb and showing absolutely no respect for the effort Fantasy put playing for our team. And as for what FA posted he doesnt seem to mind sharing it with Fantasy. And i get the feeling that Fantasy could be more in need of his half than (our beloved)FA.
Split!(and of course we want some showmatch!)

Split the money.

They both did super good under the circumstances and should split the prize.

it's not about the money, it's about the "tribute"

how come the prize isn't split somewhat evenly among all the tl.net players?

Seeing Fantasy easily beating PJ, I would say he deserves it...
But I think if Plto hadn't screwed the build in the first game vs s2[fOu](imo started dt archives too late) - would have also won the first game and could have had pure record.

I would say split, but then again I want to see a showmatch and showmatch needs motivation so 300:200 is a good choice.

Well you already had your citadel up and started building archives 30 seconds later.
You gateway was destroyed 1/2 builing your first dt. It could have at least provide you with the fisrt savior Dt to aid you vs pescy lings.
