While there are contenders in every region Korea is too stacked to not have a champion come out this year.
AM has Polt/Jaedong, EU has MMA however the rest of their lineup would be a huge surprise to see in the top 4.
Everyone on KR have championship caliber play and in great form.
I really hope both soO and Dear get into the top 4. Oz wouldn't be the worse thing either.

I wouldn't be surprised if AM gets it. This is probably the weakest group from Korea. Trap Soo and Dear are all great but I haven't see enough from them to put them in the same category as someone like Innovation or Rain.

Polt and MMA have been scaring me with how well they've played. I can't imagine them not making it to the semi-finals. I am pretty sure that most of the people voting for the WCS Korea region don't understand the question. Yes, it has a stacked lineup for the finals, but the other regions have Code-S levels players going as well. So, theoretically the poll should be more even.

I voted NA -- Polt is too good.
Skill is relative.

I could see Polt doing it. Maybe Jaedong can finally break his streak of coming close but missing the titles. Really though, Trap, Dear, and Soulkey are all pretty solid. Plus Maru and Soo probably have the weakest group. Odds are on wcs Korea winning over koreans

Korea is the strongest region. Season 1 and 2's champions were both from Korea, and I won't be surprised if history repeats itself.

Dear, Trap, Soulkey, Maru, Soo... so much raw skill in those KR guys.

I voted for WCS Korea, because that's generally speaking the harder region. But given what Polt has shown us in the last months... I'd see him as the absolute favorite to take it all.

All of the KR players have beaten other Koreans to get where they are at. They are all threats to win it all. The top Korean players from AM and EU are comparable but they also contain mid-tier Koreans who may have foreignered their way into the season finals. Well, maybe not AM because of the number of Koreans there, too. KR still has the best top to bottom line-up, though.

Dis poll. More reason to keep working towards more progressive formats. (In other words, it could look a lot uglier than it already is).

Jaedong has a decent shot for NA; same with MMA for EU. But the real favorites in my opinion are Soulkey and soO.

EDIT: Polt is really strong, and I feel like he'd do well vs most of the people in the tournament, but for some reason I just feel like Soulkey and MC are coming out of that group...

I have this strange feeling MMA is going to win. Really, the champ feels like a dice-roll these days so its hard to even make a firm argument for most people like it used to be.

WCS EU it is.

I wanted to say Polt or JD initally, but then I realized Polt's powers from the American motherland will be stripped from him in Toronto and JD is always destined for silver in sc2 :/

MMA will pick up his semiforgotted glory and start dropping 4 places while taking hidden bases all over the map. I see minions dominoed by the dominion.

Since it's the WORLD championship series, a better poll would be
"What country will the WCS Season 3 winner come from?"

But then the choices would be Korea or Spain only..

Voted europe because i believe!

On paper, the answer is definitely WCS Korea, but I could easily see an upset for Polt, Jaedong, MMA, et al.

As much as I'd like Genius to win the whole thing, I don't see anyone but the ones from KR taking it. it is the hardest WCS by far, these are the guys that have proven themselves.

If polt makes it to the round of 8, he'll take the whole thing. If not, I'm going with MC. So AM or EU

Yeah, and WCS Kr runner up just lost in the Ro16, Jaedong (so AM) was in the last seasons' finals (which had only 3 KR in the top 8, and the WCS KR champion lost in the Ro16, not even talking about Innovation), etc. This thing about "foreign koreans being bad" is completely wrong. And btw, Polt left for his studies, also.
