None really, invites were pretty much precise imo. Many people seem shocked that EG didn't make it, but honestly they haven't had stable results and are "just" a fan favorite team (just like mousesports last year who eventually made it to the event.. ). They still got chance to go through qualifiers and I wish them luck there, I hope that they succeed!

None. Nobody on this list deserved to go more than any of the ones who didn't. Now it may be surprising that EG didn't get an undeserved invite if you're cynical, but I like to think that sometimes the organizers get it right. (:

There's almost always a team that gets in on name and not necessarily on recent results. That's why I thought EG would get an invite.

I guess this is why EG is sitting at 57% right now. Most people in the comments seem to agree that the invites were spot on but the poll results do not reflect that at all. Really should have had the phrase "Dota2" in the question somewhere to avoid confusion.

EG is the by far most surprising to me, but a pleasant one. Every single team invited deserve to be there, but I could have seen EG getting invited, because The International is still a marketing move, and EG is one of the, if not the, most prominent e-sports organization. The team clearly didn't earn it, like the other invites, but they could have gotten in on name alone in my opinion. On the other hand, Alliance is basically EG-eu, so I suppose Valve is covered.

Really solid invites, and having BTS and The GD Studio doing the qualifier tournaments looks very promising. It is already shaping up to be a good event.

welp EG is surprising and unsurprsing i mean they dont have the results but they have the brand power so its not unreasonable that they weren't invited but that doesnt change the fact that a lot of people thought they would be

I wonder how many of these EG votes are from people who only watch Starcraft, looked at the poll, and voted without knowing the context of the poll or what TI3 is.
