None, really. Perhaps VG come closest, and Empire from EU/NA, but none of these teams have really done much to deserve an invite. Perhaps they'll prove me wrong in the qualifiers though.

i had listed 12 names (i forgot iG was one of them :D) and only EG of that list didnt make it, but it didnt really surprise me. they hadn't been performing good lately (apart from G-1) so im glad LGD.int and MUFC got the last two, they've shown much more imo.

Invites made sense to me. EG not getting in caught me off-guard a little bit but it makes perfect sense, I don't know who I would replace for them. I would have said Empire if they didn't lose half their roster just now.

Thought EG would get an undeserved invite just because they are EG. Good that Valve gave out only invites to teams which performed really good for some time now. Maybe VP have been a bit inconsistent but they had several runner ups and won TD3

None honestly. The teams that got the invites are showing consistent results or have a stable roster. People are crying about EG not getting an invite like it's a disaster, and I can't think of the last time I saw EG win or get to the finals of anything.
Empire is undergoing heavy roster changes and I don't watch nearly enough SEA/Asia dota to know the other teams besides the heavy weighs.

Don't know enough about SEA/china scene to make a choice there, but for foreigners it is correct. I wouldn't have put EG above any of the teams who got invites.

Not really any of the teams that didn't get an invite surprised me, I think EG will get in for the quals instead of a direct invite, because of their lack of results after DHW12

I was hoping for VG but I guess they will have to prove themselves in the qualifiers. With that being said, all the invites were well earned and deserved to the teams that got them.

Somewhere between none and EG. I mean I'm surprised they didn't get an invite when I think about that in a vacuum, but when I actually look at the invite list, I ceased to be surprised.

I'm pretty surprised MUFC was invited over EG. It's not like they have had a stable roster or won anything great, either; they revamped their whole lineup like 2 months ago and don't forget last year's last-minute fiasco. Plus, EG would have brought US $$$, especially considering the event is being held in the USA.

None. Pretty solid selection of invites. The last invite to me was a toss up between EG and MUFC, but MUFC as of late has been showing strong performances in SEAdota.
