Netherlands, Argentina and Serb/Mont all have very good teams with alot of star players. And the Ivory Coast have some very good and famous players in their teams (Edoube?, and Drogba to name a few) These are all teams i think could get at least past the group stage if they weren't in the same group | ||

Serbia and Ivory Coast are better than Japan and Australia i think. And E doesn't have 3 contenders, how is US ever going to win this? Hahaha. And having Ghana as a fourth it becomes a lot easier to qualify, as you just have to beat 1 of the stronger teams and Ghana to qualify. So clearly C. And G, D and H are such walkovers. | ||

I think he considers Ghana to be the contender given he's from Africa, and I think he's right that they in fact are not far behind Italy and Cz. The FIFA ranking is a total joke. USA isn't near the top 10 countries in the world, maybe somewhere around 20. I'd probably say the top 10 ranking teams should be something like: Brazil Argentina Czeck Italy France Holland England Croatia Spain Portugal And germany, poland, sweden, equador, ivory coast, serbia, mexico, switzerland are also better than US and A, together with a few other teams which didn't qualify. | ||

You're a fortune teller. And about the 6-0: Considering they qualified above spain in their prelim group, imagine how they would have gone through in spains' group easily, and how how bad they are getting beaten in group C, that just shows how strong group C is^^. But on a serious note, i haven't seen S&M play that bad in 2 years, they were almost helping Argentina to score. But put S&M in group D, H, A, B (instead of mexico, ukraine, poland or sweden, which aren't very different in class from S&M) and they suddenly have a decent chance of making the second round. | ||
