He is in a group with the current champion and 2 of the best Terrans, not to mention his group probably has the best TvP/ZvP record out of all of them. Other groups would definitely be easier.

I'd say only DRG has a better chance of advancing from their group. Huk is probably screwed tho

Not a chance of Huk to go through. But then there wasn't a chance he'd win his U&D group, so we'll see.

And in the Ro8 you are only two matches from the finals, so who knows? Maybe he will take it all (or I'm just too big of a fan of him ) Naniwa got a bit lucky when he reached the ro8: each times he hadn't to play his worst MU (PvZ) in the groups whereas Stephano has to play ZvZ. Voted only Stephano

It's a hell of a long shot that he'll make it out of this group, and Sniper would HAVE to 2-0 the group for it to happen, but it's not like he's up against 3 zergs or one of each race.

Voted only Stephano He actually reached ro8 twice in a row! Also it would be a "bit of luck" if there were as many zergs as there are now. When he reached ro8 there were like 5 zergs out of 32, so it was more likely to face P and T than Z. He faced MVP on Ro8 the last time he got there, wouldnt call that "bit of luck" either. =D (same season MVP defeated Squirtle on the finals)

-- His zvt is very good and he can advance by beating two terran. I love Innovation but after seeing more games do not think he's the zvt god I initially thought he was; also zvt is still obviously extremely difficult for Terrans. -- Despite his loss in iron squid to drg, I still think Stephano is capable of beating DRG --30% or 40% chance perhaps, given he's beaten him a couple times before and DRG's play can show a lot of variance, although lately he's been in beast mode. -- Stephano basically stopped practicing prior to going to Korea and now he's practicing quite a bit, so I expect a return to form where he was widely considered a top 3 zerg. He's not a normal player that needs months to figure things out. This guy can do it in one or two weeks (or at least this fanboy thinks he can!) --Stephano is a big game player. I've never seen him rattled and he tends to play better as pressure intensifies.

Seriously? Fucking seriously? He doesn't even take a game off DRG, gets destroyed 3-0 and you still think he's likely to beat him? Can we say fanboy?

Umm he was 2-0 against DRG until that point. So he's 3-2 lifetime against DRG -- can we say hater? I can. Edit: 2-3 (i meant, obviously)

I'd say Stephano has a pretty good shot at getting out. Bogus is obviously a threat as a top 8 seed, but with last season being almost universally agreed as the flukiest, this may not weigh as much as in previous GSLs. You can never count DongRaeGu out, but Stephano proved before that he has what it takes to take out the final boss. As for Hack.. well, he's a very good player, but it's hard to envision him making the Ro16..
