I think Vortix vs BBK will produce some excellent games! Two European prodigies duking it out in a clash of the unknown but oh so skilled. : )

I agree with most people Ret vs Squirtle should be the match to watch.
With an average game length of 7m36s over his 6 games in GSL3, this is a no-brainer. BitByBit pulls more SCVs than yo momma at a club on Mar Sara. ♞

Ret vs Squirtle the only one with big names clashing, also on personal level looking forward to Finns going against the Korean duo. On the other hand don't care too much for the other no names matches, maybe later if they do something like Thorzain in TSL3.

Ret vs Squirtle for sure. It also is the toughest match up in that poll choice imo. Ret is going to have play amazing to beat Squirtle. Ret is capable of doing it, if Ret can get his drones anything is possible.

Ret/squirtle easily. Ret has been doing really well lately and it'll be interesting to see how he fares in this tournament. I must say, overall the opening matches are all kind of underwhelming.

Yeah, you're right. These players are terrible. It's so easy to win a TL open or qualify through consistently good results in them. EZ.

Same. Between two Foriegner vs Korean matches I gotta go for the TvZ, even if it isn't as great a matchup as it was six months ago.
I root for Euro Zergs, NA Protoss* and Korean Terrans. (Any North American who has beat a Korean Pro as Protoss counts as NA Toss)

Hyun vs Major no question. It's the only TvZ (which would be a sufficient reason by itself) and probably also the one with the best players (Ret vs Squirtle being also two good players but TvZ > PvZ)

Kas and fraer both have the potential to play at the absolute high end skill level but get thrown off kinda easily when they face stuff they are not prepared for. if they both just throw their best at each other this match could be absolutly insane.
