Lucifron was inactive for most of 2011, but when he came back he crushed best EU zergs (Nerchio/Stephano) and Mana (who has best PvT in EU now). You can't say he's worse than Rain. I hope Lucifron wins it all ^^

He's not. Thorzain and Naniwa both won big tournaments. What did Rain won? His last bo5 matches were 1-3 vs IdrA and 2-3 vs Demuslim. Rain was in Code S for 6 seasons straight, Thorzain has so far won a single match in Code A, Naniwa has won 0. The tournament Naniwa won was the least impressive MLG with zero Koreans participating, the tournament Thorzain won only had foreigners and Koreans with high latency to the point where Goody could take down Nestea. Single matches mean very little in consistency.

MC and Thorzain both played on EU server when they met. Jetlag and no korean practice was a huge deal for their preformance in code A. Rain has been in code S a bunch of season so was Inca but neither have shown deep understanding like Nani and Tzain in their matches. Rain is a lot better but he was never the top of Korean skill. FD has a GSL win yet he is not seen as a good player. Rain has never shown the skill to be able to compete with top players in a long time.

Do you think they tried to qualify for all GSL's and failed? Also they had very little time to practice before those Code A matches. By your logic, players like Kyrix, Choya, Anypro, Jinro, etc. are also better than Naniwa, Thorzain because they stayed in Code S for more seasons than them.

Please, use your intense reading comprehension to read the person I was quoting. He was saying "Naniwa's/Thorzain's past achievements are better than Rain's", when they clearly aren't. And unlike any of the people you quoted, he was still in Code S, having not dropped out and still playing on par with players there, when he left. So that's, at best, a terrible comparison.
