Just a thought. Would it be possible to have a separate header for rebroadcasts? Between ON AIR and Live User Streams? As for the actual calendar, [x] I find them useful.

I dont like the listing of re-broadcasts at all. You don't really know what has already been re-broadcasted and what did not. In addition to that, if people are really interested in a certain league/tournament, it should not a problem at all to check out the website where the event is hosted/streamed on.
WIth big leagues like NASL and IPL we have roughly 10 hour content each day for just this one special event. Also the re-broadcast is a little confusing esp. with IPL. Often I dont know in which round a match is. Is this an Important game or is it not? So I am currently thinking of IPL as some sort of showmatches at the moment.

In addition to that it also messes with the EU weekly cup culture we have. Those weekly cups we have here on the EU servers are a REALLY REALLY good thing to have. Not only can we see EU's top players compete on a daily basis for our entertainment but it's also good to increase the player's skill level quite a bit because of this constantly competing enviroment.

But with the listing of those re-broadcasts, not only the viewers but also the (mostly casual) player numbers go down quite a bit. Which means, that sponsors don't get that high numbers anymore and are thinking twice before they start to sponsor another weekly cup series. That decreases the prize pool, the amount of Pro's participating etc. etc.

Where do we draw the line? Is it okay to re-broadcast Events as well that are beeing played on EU prime time 8 hours later for US prime time (and vice versa) )and justify this by not releasing the VODs?

TL;DR Re-Broadcasts are fine, but should not be listed anymore. One offical event is enough. People who want to watch the rebroadcasts should watch them on the event's website.
Listing of re-broadcasts are messing with other events too much.

Its not like the live list is full of events 24/7. Its no inconveniance, it can only beneficial, but as previous posters mentioned i support that re-broadcasts should be labeled as such in the list and should include descriptions making the re-broadcast orientable.

I voted that i don't mind, which is true. I think channels using rebroadcasts should use more VODs

edit: i have to agree with furycab, the only channel that REALLY should do rebroadcast is GomTV, but heh i guess they want to send tickets.

I find them very useful considering a lot of events are in NA-favored times, so as a EU spectator, I, for those events, pretty much ignore the main broadcast on the calendar. I agree with the IPL thing though, I think the list would be way too packed if it included that atm..

Don't see how it can hurt? Maybe it clutters a bit but not really.

Helps with events that happen and you didn't get to see.

I get sort of overwhelmed by all the events on the calendar... Removing rebroadcasts would be a good way to clean it up imo.

Clutters up an already cluttered section of the site. Would prefer no re-broadcasts in the events and spoilered streams for events with multiple streams

I voted I'd prefer it if they weren't listed. I absolutely DESPISE IPL rebroadcasts to the point where I don't watch it anymore.

It should at the very least be clearly listed as a rebroadcast on the main page. Every time

I'm not sure if someones suggested something like this, but why not have a customizable calendar.

You know, have little option box [X] GSL Events [X] NASL [X] IPL [ ] IPL Restreams

It would require quite a bit of work to get it up (and more to maintain it), but I think it would be a very nice addition.
