FlashIsHigh United States474 Posts February 15 2011 17:15 GMT #170 US Central represent EDIT: However for the sake of a new TL time zone, I would say just add a Eastern time(since im used to getting all my times in the format of 9/8 Central, where Eastern time takes a precedence) and I would also suggest maybe adding CET as well for the EU users. I will be kinda sad to see KST go since ive been looking at that for the last 5 years lol, but as shown here KST only makes up 2 percent, give or take, of the ppl who view this site.

dtz 5834 Posts February 15 2011 17:31 GMT #175 Probably better to sitck with a timezone that is constant ( not constantly moving with daylight saving and what not as the baseline). That said i learn to tell when events are by calculating the difference in hours between current time in KST and when the event is supposed to start and then adding it to my local time so i don't think it will matter too much

If a change is needed because of esports' global explosion, switching to a standard (GMT/UTC) is the logical step.
