I'd say Flash not playing a lot of games will make it tougher to rank him high, but he hasn't really shown many severe weaknesses in his play. Stork's been figured out with preparation and Jaedong is being too greedy in general. Etc.

What a hard PR.
Put Violet at #1 for taking on cancer.

IT'S OVER ONE THOUSAND!
put 4 random quater-finalists zergs in top 5 this time, will be funny.
|
If stork had lost good games it would have been much easier to rank him. Fact is he got stopmped pretty hard 6 times in a row.
|
Getting 3-0'd twice shows that Stork has serious problems with preparation. That's difficult to argue.

I want to write 20kB about BoX Beast's, and Stork is the beast that plays with tactic he developed beforehand, just like fantasy, but it's not good enough for the race he plays, It's in the middle between art which is playing zerg and terran playing which is science. I want to write this since his Bo5 with JD. Key role plays 4th set in which he didn't ht. 5th doesn't matter.

It's been a long time since Bisu showed any sign of good preparation for BoXs though.

If Flash does manage the 3-kill against MBC he should have a high spot 2-4 certainly, but not #1. If he drops a game he should be much lower, around 5-6, IMO.

Lol, Flash literally does the same thing every TvT and every Terran let's him get away with it like a complete dumbass. He figures out what he needs to do to get 1 more expo than his opponent and then wins because he has more resources.

-__- You do realize that this is a compliment to Flash, right? He has some of the best insight into the strategy part of RTS of any pro ever. Combined with his great mechanics and game sense it is the one thing that gives him the kind of edge that let him become bonjwa.

You are calling all the other Terran progamers dumbasses, which is just plain fucking ridiculous.
Also Flash does not do the same thing in every TvT.

Also Flash does not do the same thing in every TvT. It's not just the Terrans, the same principal applies to the other match-ups too, it's just a little less apparent because they aren't mirrors. But yeah, most pros play exactly like what they are: teenagers that practice the same stuff over and over (starting BOs, cute tactics) but don't have a deep understanding of what it takes to win a long macro game. Flash plays like someone with a brain twice his age but the speed of a teenager. That's why he's bonjwa (IMO).

I don't see why people keep saying Bisu's record in WL is so much better (opponents notwithstanding) 15-2 is about the same as 9-1 (pending 12-1/11-2). On top of that Bisu lost to Flash giving a hint of who is the stronger player. Really its about whether he gets a 3 kill tonight or not, if not I can see nr 2. (still a stretch). But if he wins it's pretty clear IMO.
|
Actually Flash's wrist problem hasn't made him worse. It just makes him decide to end his games faster.

Flash #1 imho. He manhandled MBC.
Edit: Btw., is his ELO going over 2400 again?

Don't think so. If he hadn't lost to Zero. He'll get a new TvP peak, however.

Flash is looking absolutely amazing! I think it's very fair to say that this man would've all-killed ACE for example if he had gotten the chance to (like Bisu).
And by the way, if I ever see someone say that Flash is boring/just turtles I'll go insane. Damn that was so awesome! :D His BOs are so fantastic.

Flash over Bisu easily now. Better record and better opponents list, while both look dominant in proleague.

He should be very close, if not just making it. I have a hard time not seeing Flash at #1 after + Show Spoiler +this 3-kill. Unlike Bisu, he's been extremely clutch cleaning up for his team and his only loss was when it didn't matter (Action cleaned up). He just crushed Sea after Sea played 2 amazing games against Action and Stats, and completely steamrolled Light and Jaehoon who have been doing great.
