Hey I just realized that EVERYTIME Stork and Bisu go on a trip together, they ALWAYS come back stronger! They are two parts of a single being, unseparable from each other. One cannot do well without the other, and so they will either both succeed, or succeed not at all. Seriously, they both usually do well at one time, probably because of a sort of rivalry.

I still stand by that, I think. Why? is there a reason why for you to think that? He seems like he can take on anything but Flash and Stork right now. If flash and stork were both knock out in the early stages of the leagues, he could get far and probably won one.
You pretty much covered it - "If Flash and Stork were both knocked out..."
Jaedong and Flash - assuming they survive groups - are always (or for the forseeable future) going to be pretty massive favorites over anyone except each other in a BoX. Stork at his peak - which he almost is (a little shaky PvP, otherwise almost untouchable) can join them in that kind of category. Ditto fantasy.
But Bisu, despite his massive PL success, feels like he's a hair below that. I just don't see him as a favorite over any of those four unless they're slumping - or he gets even better.

Bisu and JD are pretty 50/50 in terms of odds. Actually more people would vote on Bisu than JD right now I bet.

Lol, a billion people voted for Bisu as player of the year 2010. Bisu fanboys could ruin any poll.
Of course it's possible for Bisu to do well even in Starleagues, I mean we've had Kwanros and whatnot reach finals, but I just don't have the feeling he's going to. And I wouldn't give him a snowballs chance in hell vs Flash in a Bo5 (which usually is what it takes to win something these days).
Jaedong on the other hand can look pretty weak at times, such as right now, and still he's there in a final at the end of the season (when was the last time he wasn't in at least one Starleague final?).
Basically, Bisu is a mortal these days. JD and Flash are not. On the other hand, I didn't really expect Stork to go back to be as awesome as he is right now, so you never know. It's just a feeling I have though, Bisu will never be as good as the two Lees again.

Why couldn't Flash have slumped
It could have been Taek-Bang era again with dragons and everything
|
I think that the dragon era isn't close to coming back. I think it's just TaekBang now because Jangbi/Best/Free are pretty down and I don't know what to think of Kal.

THAT STORK
Sick after updating TLPD I see that his ELO is 2313 now. 12 away from passing Jaedong O_O
|
Speaking of ELO, I haven't checked TLPD for like, 1.5 months? thinking that Flash's ELO is probably in the 2350s and JD is 2330s. Today I check again and Flash is 2383 (lol sick), while Jaedong is 2325 O_o. Didn't know a few losses to Hogil, Bisu and Stork could pummel his ELO that much.

Have there ever been four people >2300 simultaneously?
And not only that, but the 2200 club is very sparse now that TB have upgraded and the S-class readers have dipped.
But as for Stork, despite his two wins, his PvP still leaves room for doubt, after being on the backfoot against Jaehoon and going all-in against Tyson. At least beating Bisu helped allay a few fears.

I hate stork for 4gating against Tyson, it looks like an sc2 match. Oh well, he got to do what he got to do on fortress since there's no ramp.

Ehh, 4 gate on a rampless map isn't all that bad of a strategy really. And it's not as if you see it every other game as in SC2. Seems like whenever a protoss is involved there, a 4 gate is inevitably going to happen in every series, regardless of matchup.

All 4 of them over 2300 at the same time. Just wow.
2011, the year of the Dinotoss? Right now he's seriously looking exactly like Flash when he started going into God mode at the end of 2009. The only games (very few) he loses are games that doesn't matter, aka games in series or group stages that he advances from anyway.
BW is so interesting right now. It's just sad that Flash isn't still in the leagues so Stork could get the chance to dethrone him.

You know, if the OSL final is Fantasy VS Stork, the looser will officially be the real king of the Queen lol. I so wish it happens.
Battle of the Queens FTW!!!

Was thinking the same thing, Flash v Stork BO5 right now would be beautiful to behold. I'll just have to hope Stork keeps it up and they both make it through to a finals next set of SLs.

Such predictions don't serve any purpose. Before Flash beat Jaedong in three finals in a row, Jaedong was the indisputed Bo5 king and Flash was the supertalented guy that just threw away a 2-0 vs Effort and couldn't deal with the stress during the poweroutage properly, now they call him God, because Bonjwa is not enough.
Stork is playing amazing starcraft right now and the maps are good for protoss, and he is no 18 year old newbie who just knows finals from television. Of course he is a serious thread for Flash.

Yes I know, hence why I said "he got to do what he got to do". I guess I miss the "to win" there.

He didn't say that Flash would indisputably beat Stork, but saying Flash would beat any progamer 3-0 or 3-1 is likely.
