I believe the new one is a mix of Open/Closed. 32 entrants from previous seasons battle for 32 spots and any amount of entrants from outside of Code S/A battle for 32 spots, together composing a Ro64. Though I've only seen the format explained once or twice, in Korean on GOMTV so I may very well be wrong. ^^

Nope, don't get it.... but honestly i haven't had time to sit down and read about it yet. I listened to DjWheat trying to explain it and I think he definitely didn't get it^^ I'll sit down and read it at some point.

Same, I've half heartedly tried to understand it, didn't manage and decided it really isn't important. Epic games and hopefully learning a thing or two keeps me watching.

Ya, I'm way into the GSL, so I made sure I understood everything, but some aspects are not easy to understand at first glance (like the Code S group stage), so more casual viewers might not get everything until they actually see how it works in the tournament.
