The truth is he wasn't the better choice. At least Nada is a better players than Idra - there is no Terranplayer you can compare to Nada macrowise. Proof: watch set2 Ro16

Possibly, though to be honest I havent seen many of Nadas games for sc2 so I cant make much of a judgement on his play and im certainly not going to say hes better than anyone based on one game. Ive seen a number of Boxer games however and he seems to be making a number of mistakes, but I think he is improving.

I think Nada is extremely solid right now. Much more so than our Emperor.. But only time will tell.

I watched both games, I cant understand how nada plays
he seems to have almost the same scv count, same bases and suddenly he is 30-40 food ahead out of nowhere ... xDDD

Yeah but this guesses are backed by results . On one hand you have the most successful BW player of all time with 700 + official games played with 60 % winrate over the couse of about 10 years on the other hand there is Idra who has no achievements whatsoever in Korea . Not to mention that Nada has also shown impressive games regardless that he has been playing the game seriously for like 1 month ...

Surely playing the game a couple of months more on completely different patches won't make you a better RTS player then Nada . The facts are not even comparable . Anyone with common sense will vote Nada over Idra . But since most of the users either don't know who Nada is or don't give a damn and just vote for Idra , because they are a fan of his or just cheer for the foreigners . Then results are irrelevant .

Idra could very well be a better player then Boxer since , Boxer's level in BW has droped a lot this last years , while Nada has always been a level above them .

Frankly Idra should be winning the poll : "Which one of the three players doesn't belong with the others " instead of this one .

That's funny because if Idra played Nada my money would definitely be on Idra. And the same for Idra vs Boxer.

Now, this is just my opinion. But unlike other people, I don't try to act like it is more than my opinion.

Sc1 is not sc2. Nada is an amazing gamer and I am sure he will go far. But I wouldn't expect anyone to switch over and instantly be the best.

Lots of dogmatic opinions here from people yearning for the days of BW back.

I may have been ignorant to what bracket Idra was in, but in any match vs Boxer or Nada I would have still bet on Idra, and that's how/why I voted for him.

Relentless Heroes FTW

One month in the right practise environment with Nada's skills would probably make you one of the best player in the scene . Just look at MVP and SangHo . Played the game for 2 months and already bashing the SC2 players in GSL like they are some noobs and even thought MVP lost to probably the best zerg right now he put a really respectable fight . Even Boxer is doing decent in his games . Idra dissapointed in GSL 1 vs a mediocre protoss . He lost a ZvZ rather cluelessly right now . While Nada in the short time he has played has looked solid in TvT and TvZ . Idra would probably beat Nada in TvZ , but results speak for themselves and it's pretty difficult to say that Idra is still a better player then Nada .

Had MVP/MakaPrime won their respective sections of bracket D, IdrA would've made top 4 ezpz. Instead, he had to play ZvZ.

I'd put money on Nada vs Idra, but Idra over Boxer.

Nada went further than idra already. He is good. It's definitely naive to assume he just picked it up and instantly got good. He has been playing it since release no doubt. When he played TLO at that (Euro?) event? Do you honestly think he just learned a build that day and competed at that level vs TLO who was playing for months already?
..and then I would, ya know, check em'. (Aka SpoR)

Well most people's vote goes down in water. I actually predicted Nada, so I'm going to stick with it.

I didn't actually see that game. I suppose you are probably right anyways.

What has Idra actually proven in a tourney vs Koreans, BW or SC2, to say he'd beat Nada

And? That didn't happen. If Light played nothing but TvZ he'd probably win Starleagues, but that doesn't happen, does it?
