Yeah, Mana's performance vs Bratok had already convinced me of his skill. I'm surprised Octzerg is so high, tbh.

I wasn't surprised about Mana- well, I was a bit surprised when he took 1st for a bit.

The real surprise is this IdrA kid. Remember that name- he seems to be pretty good.

Is really ESC member placing high in ladder something weird? Or just there's some kinda hate for Mana which i don't know of?

I don't understand people that says what Yosh has done is surprising, if you had any idea of who he is you would know that he is fully capable of doing what he has done.

He stopped playing bw, came back for TSL, and get B+ with 82-22, and even took some games to Advokate and Oystein who are among the top foreigners.

Dude.. OctZerg is the only person in the world that benefits from actually dodging foreigners.

I'm pretty sure he'll soon make a name for himself in the Korean community too and then he'll just be another C+ cheesy zerg

Btw, to the people that are saying 'Yosh isn't a suprise, he's fucking awesome' yeah, i couldn't agree more, but that thing that suprises me the most is how consistently safe he must be playing, to play 57 ladder games he must have played vs aloot of cheese, espescially being a terran player, and still winning every game. I don't think it's a suprise at all that he's up there, infact I think he's going to be top3 quite easily, a friend told me how hard he's been laddering all season on smurf accounts, so he should really be one to watch.

Shaman didn't just come back for TSL. He has been active on iccup every single season, for both 1v1 and 2v2. He uses the ID pam_pam , and has played TONS of games over the last few seasons.

Yosh is no surprise to me, he has been around for so.... so long time and always among top foreigners eventhough some people might not know him that well... I voted Sziky as i haven't really heard much about that guy. Same goes for Shad. F91 is just a beast raisin through the ladder and he is definately gonna go high in the final rankings of whole TSL 2.

btw i don't like the zerg domination nowadays, only 2 solid protoss make me sad.. go Mana and WhiteRa

Ye, and people saying Yosh lol surprise at 57-0, and now 20 games later he is at 67-10. So much for miracle boy.

Biggest surprise is Idra after 1,5 year in a prohouse not being waaaaay ahead of foreigners, as Draco was after 7 months, and Nony would have been. Shame.

Foreigners are a lot better now than they were then. Also, progressing at A- seems to be almost impossible since you need to have a winning record to just hold your spot. I imagine that's why most of the top 10 aren't playing much unless people pass them.

After week one? A week has already passed?
There was once a dream that was Esports. You could only whisper it. Anything more than a whisper and it would vanish... Now is the time to make that dream a reality!

Foreigners are a lot better now than they were then. Also, progressing at A- seems to be almost impossible since you need to have a winning record to just hold your spot. I imagine that's why most of the top 10 aren't playing much unless people pass them.

After seeing WCG this year I don't agree. I've never seen Koreans pwning even the best foreigners with such ease.
First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight with you, then you win.

Shame.

You do realize IdrA plays, like, 95% Korean opponents while the other players on the ladder play a different mix. He's lost to 2 players who weren't Chinese/Korean (foscB.Team - whom he later called out for gaying him and unpausing a game and G2G.Mirror after beating him the first 2 times) and of the rest of his losses, 2 were to Chinese players. So of his 67 losses, 63 are vs. Korean players, 2 to foreigners and 2 to Chinese.

Compare that to someone like CaStrO who has played ~30 Koreans, lost to most of them and is playing foreigner guys who rank a rank below him while he's at A-.

same goes for yosh. he ain't dodging no korean. dranjam you should probably stop random-hating on these players, especially the ones that actually ladder in a legitimate fashion.

Yosh isn't actually playing as many Koreans - he's not dodging them by any means, but his mix is much more composed of foreigners as opposed to IdrA's. Still, hating on someone who went 57-0 to start is really lame.
