He 4-0'd STX in that tournament, he's beaten the god of ZvZ twice in a row, (and in the last one he completely out-microed him off a mirror build), and then went on to beat effort. And this is after recently beating kwanro, stork, great (2-1), and quite a few other players (some notable, some not). He has won 28 of his last 36 overall games. Yeah. | ||

i can't understand if some people voted for fantasy, effort or zero if the poll is presenting all of these other easy pz choices. all three of those players are absolutely fantastic (barring zero's meh zvz; though to be honest, it is improving nowadays). fantasy is pretty damn fucking good. a lot of us (myself included) expected him to crash and burn after getting stomped by dinotoss in osl finals, yet he proved himself to be unbelievably resilient and rock his way to become the forefront of skt's two-punch knockout (bisu + fantasy). effort is just fantastic. maybe this is because he is an alien. zero has jawdropping zvp and incredible zvt. he has also a creativity and flourish that makes him incredible to watch only because of his skill but also because of his ingenuity and creativity. i think a lot of the hate that he gets is from his debut defeat of savior during savior's msl comeback where he straightup owned bisu and then defeated upmagic. i saw so many hateful comments on that lr thread after zero solidly trampled over savior's return-to-the-limelight msl that were unmerited. i swear to you, if zero had beaten anyone else other than savior to advance to the final four, he'd be loved by the masses now. unfortunately, rabid maestro lovers have tainted his image and as a result his fanbase is actually small compared to how much he deserves. that said, for me the choice is skyhigh because you would have to be sky high not to pick him. very solid tvt (though even that's been slipping nowadays) and mediocre to decent tvz (3 in his last 10) and tvp, yet many hail him as the next big terran. maybe when he looks more solid in his other matchups and actually make it into the starleagues i'll start taking note. until then, however, skyhigh is gonna be another good but not great terran in my book. hyuk came close though, but i feel sorry for the guy so i casted my vote elsewhere. | ||
