Apparently F91 and Strelok were tied on Tau Cross, and no one won the second game .
Super serious.

just joking

China has its own league and scene they are pro's in all reality. With the lag issues that seperate china and russia from the rest of the world (most of the time) we just have very seperate communities.

Nony better train at least some games with no lan lat and/or extra high latency to make sure his micro and storm timing aren't off. oystein played f91 is severe lag a few weeks back and he still teched muta and sniped temps like nothing.

Also his builds were 3 hat muta -> 5 hat pure hydra. and 9poolspeed -> 2 hat muta. With lag it is impossible to dodge scourge with sairs.

I don't know if you guys realize but f91 does use lag to his advantage.

People should stop emphasizing the whole "Korea" thing. You have to realize that F91 and other top foreign pros aren't just people who play this casually, there's a reason they're called "pros:" they also spend 8+ hours a day practicing, and Lx and Pj used to be on Korean B-teams also, and they're on the same level as F91. Idra had the fabled "Korean training" but still couldn't hold a candle to F91, and he's an ACTIVE Korean B-teamer, as opposed to Nony who recently (retired?)

Just because someone's in Korea doesn't mean they're better or have more experience. No one can deny that as a nation, Korea is vastly superior to anyone else at Starcraft. But that doesn't mean that if someone went to Korea, they'd magically inherit the abilities of S-class gamers...

Um, no ones chalking improvement to the magical aura of being in Korea. They're chalking it up to following strict training regiments on a professional StarCraft team. That's much different than being an amatuer.

It has yet to be proven that the korean approach to starcraft actually works with non-koreans.

There are amatuers that are better then any of the players who have been or are in korea also.

I agree with you sheep. People need to quit overrating the korean experience. Now nony is a different story then idra anyway, he went to korea as one of the best outside of korea anyway. I'm sure we will see more map dependent results then we have seen so far in nony vs f91.

Good Luck Nony!

so nony is the next challenger and chill and artosis are going to cast?

that's wicked. TL is pretty damn impressive, first they get idra to play in an ultimate showdown against f91, and then a month later they get the other recent progamer nony to play.

thanks so much for organizing this guys

Idra?

QFT. I think NonY is the last foreigner (other than maybe Mondragon) who has a realistic shot at taking down F91. If he fails, we be watching F91 on Liquibition for a long time .

Just one mistake. F91 is the type of player who depends heavily on his micro. He can't control mutas well to take out SCVs or scourges if the lag is too severe. Terran players will have big advantage as they won't have to worry about F91's Muta harassment.
