Will this even work as an all-kill format? Even less of the smaller players will get to play now, and it seems like people will just spend all 30 of their points on 3 players 8-9 point players, and then pick some 0's and pray.

I think you'll all be surprised that the lesser players will still be getting games and some of them are bound to be surprises themselves. The losing team has to send out four different players still, so a lot of them are bound to get wins anyway.

If anything... even more players will be gunning to take down giants like Flash and Jaedong because they don't see lineups a week beforehand and if they are going to be practicing against a certain player on a team, then they will practice against that team's best. So the better players are just going to be prepared against by everyone each week week rather than just one player, and those star players won't have time to practice the vast configuration of possible match-ups that will inevitably be coming their way.

This might be a little OT, but I couldn't find a thread with the full PL format concerning the different rounds. So R1 and R2 was standard Bo5 lineups. R3 seems its All-Kill. What about the rest of Rounds? If I'm not wrong, there are supposed to be 6 rounds, right?

That's a good point. Looking at it that way I think the middling players on lecaf/ktf are going to be really bad picks this season.
