Starcraft Community “World Champion” YGOSU vs The Top Foreign Community Team Liquid!
At the 2006 Blizzcon, there was a world championship of Starcraft community websites called “Sandlot.” In this match, In_Dove and S2[fOu] of SKT represented YGOSU (then known as YGClan) and played a huge role and eventually defeated GosuGamers 3-2 in the finals. YGOSU will play against the Team Liquid on Saturday the 6th and 4:00 PM. YGOSU member Hell[fOu] will be the coach of the team that represents YGOSU. This lineup includes progamers Eun[fOu] (STX), Choya[KaL] (CJ), and 1a2a3a[fOu] (aka Terror[fOu] of STX). Notable names representing Team Liquid are WCG Canada’s Testie and the Nazgul, who used to be a progamer in Korea.
Regarding the match, coach Hell[fOu] confidently said “Firstly, I have never thought that we will lose this friendly. As long as the players play as usual I am confident that a 7-0 is very possible. However, there is a law that not everything will go to plan. Who knows, maybe a robber could break into one of the homes or perhaps the deliveryman will come and ask for confirmation of the receipt. In this case then we will win 6-1 or 5-2.”
This friendly showmatch was made possible because staff members from both sides met at Blizzcon 2008 and agreed to this arrangement. This match surpasses a mere friendly but shows how the interactions between various community sites can be improved and built upon. However, this is still a competition and YGOSU staff expects YGOSU to win handily.
Will YGOSU be able to protect Korea’s Starcraft pride and play like champions?
This showmatch will be a best of 7 matches, but regardless of the score all 7 matches will be played out. Also, Team Liquid will be broadcasting this live at their site.

perhaps something got lost in translation....? i can imagine the conversation went something like this:
"how does a community match where the average skill level is around B sound?" "great!" *TL announces lineup* *YGOSU announces lineup* "wait, didn't you say around B level?" "yeah, as in B-team progamers" "T_T"
rape incoming!

JF, Cloud and Artosis should be able to win their games, i'm clueless when it comes to 3v3's so i wont comment on that.
Anyone know what the comments over there are like? they are all confident in YG winning this i assume?

Think TL should use a stronger lineup, YGosu's lineup is pretty scary!
Perhaps changing the lineup for the teamgame's?
Would be pretty embarassing seeing our staff members play, no offence guys!
by the looks of it, theyr'e taking this seriously, so should we!!

also, believe me we exhausted our possibilities with all the top foreigners. there were many schedule conflicts.
