The last day of the Ro64 starts in a few hours, and it's ending with a bang. This weekend we have some big players, some old players, and some rookies looking to make it big, all fighting it out for a place in the final 32. But first, let's take a look at what happened last week:

The GSL has been a tournament of upsets. The greatest have fallen to complete unknowns, the young have taken out the experienced, and the old have destroyed their successors. And with the line-ups we have this week, that's a great thing.
The first match-up is a really difficult one to call: XellOs vs Tempest . Tempest has been the staple Protoss for KTF this season, and while he has not always impressed, he did manage to reach the Ro16 in the MSL. XellOs, on the other hand, needs no introduction. He's been a staple Terran for CJ since 2005, and has never really lost it. I'm calling this for XellOs, as Tempest's form has been far from stellar recently.
Our second match is Canata vs ToSky. The neo-Boxer that never really happened, against the player that never really happened. It's a bit of a downer, but Canata is known for interesting games, and ToSky did do well in the previous GSL, so they hopefully they'll deliver some amazing games. I'll abstain from voting on this one.
The third match should be a bit closer as the hardworking CJ Terran, Darkelf, goes up against one of the top Protoss players out there, Kal. The two are 1-1 historically, with Kal taking the more recent encouter. It would be optimistic to vote against Kal, but Darkelf is known for producing upsets, and with the GSL as it is, anything can happen!
The final match, and without a doubt the match of the night, is between defending champion Jaedong, and WeMade up-and-comer HerO. I think no-one is predicing a HerO win here, but it might be a good test of skill for the young Protoss. HerO has had good results against Zerg in the past, but has never really been tested, and it will be interesting to see how he steps up to the challenge.

It might be interesting to find out what Jaedong thinks of both sAviOr and Bisu's claims that they will dethrone him!
As with last week, I apologize for not adding the VOD links to the results, my exams are still in full flow and it's just too time consuming. I also apologize for the late news report, with so many things happening, it was difficult to find a slot to pop this in. With the new frontpage, that's not a problem fortunately! Anyway, enjoy your Sunday, and support GomTV by participating in all their community events. They're doing it for you guys!
