Oh god I really haven't been this excited over a finals in a while. July is my favourite player ever, but I wasn't even this excited about July vs Best, or the last Jaedong vs Flash, but this really is it. There's just sooooo much hanging on both sides. I'm rooting for Stork. I've really liked his play for a while now, reavers are sexy, and being great at mirror matchups always impresses me. But on the other hand, he's playing vs iloveoov's apparent protege, that alone is really significant given who iloveoov is. Also, I've really liked fantasy too, again good in mirror matchups is impressive. If fantasy fails, he won't Royal Road, but he still has a huge future ahead. I can't help but feel that if Stork loses he's going to kill himself. If Stork wins... well I don't know lol. World ends I guess. But really, if Stork wins, that might mean he'll continue to remain strong for atleast another season, and I really like how he makes each map his own, molds the map to his play rather than his play to the map.

Yea I agree, but being "cold" and "hard" has no influence on whether he is rough aruond the edges or not

Anyway, the scores either going to be 3-1 to Stork or 2-3 to Fantasy in my honest opinion. The stork fan inside me is telling me that stork is going to destroy fantasy and leave his anus bleeding, but the cold hard unbias writer tells me that fantasy is going to take this series. Given how terrible my predictions are, maybe this might jinx fantasy and i'll get my wish hahah

I'm not sure Fantasy is a cold killer so to speak. He looks like and plays like an old Nada-like Terran who isn't to sure of his own abilities. His vulture micro in his recent game has shown potential to be like the Tornado Terran, but he questions his own movements in the games, it's pretty visible. I'm afraid he got through a lot of the OSL just being oov's shell, but if that helps him progress and build confidence in his game sense, then I fear for Savior's comeback in 2009.

The difference between Flash and Fantasy insofar as to say Flash was supposed to be the next Bonjwa, in my own opinion is the atmosphere surrounding them. Flash had the potential to be the next king of Terran so to speak, but seemed to get lost after last season; not quite sure what he was supposed to do other then just play Starcraft.

If Fantasy can manage to get out of this series without being swept 3-0 I imagine he'll step up for SKT and in the individual leagues as Best has done.

I'm just curious if Fantasy will play standard or decide to go balls to the walls and just show off something new.

Also, interestingly enough, here is Fantasy fighting off that cheese on the first map that probably will come. And this is all kinds of cheese he shrugs off;

I think that Fantasy might walk his Royal Road, the past finals (GSI and MSL) are mostly upsets and I think that we might be able to see another one here.

I really like these TeamLiquid write-ups. I'm an SC2GG fanboy, but this is really what I come here for. I somewhat disagree on the map-predictions, but I'm always fearful for Stork. Even though I always root for him, I'm always scared, the whole game, that he's going to lose! I don't know why, but he exceeded my expectations against Best and Bisu so that's pretty impressive. He's on a roll no-doubt, and I don't think he will let it slip. If he was going to crack under pressure, he would have already done so against Best, which didn't happen. Stork, buddy..WE need this, especially since I'm going to watch you play in a few days at the WCG, you better not disappoint!

Ugh, I don't know who I really want to root for here. I mean, I'd like Stork to finally break out of his silver chains, but then again Fantasy walking the Royal Road would be pretty sweet as well. I guess I'll just hope for some epic games.
