I think zergs need to go devourer guardian on this map imo. I can see some easy terran counters for this, and it does take a lot of gas, but what else can zergs do on Plasma? | ||

Hopefully they can find a way to balance it, but if they dont it will still produce exciting games, which is all I as a spectator care about. | ||

I don't see that exciting waiting zerg to dry up while game lasts still over 10 min. | ||

I actually liked Plasma though. Zerg butcher or not, it has produced some interesting games (proxy anyone?). Interesting games > Zergs advancing. | ||

Small chokes ensure small defence = 1 sunken + 2 lings, can safely defend early ground attempt, and later adding few lurkers can prolong this time even more. I'd secure those first and try to take mine later on. The real threat comes from early terran with possible wraith/dropships/valks. So the zerg player definitely needs spire really fast. But how to kill agile terran airforce combined of wraith+valk? I think the best way would be to include a queen to army - possibly parasite a ship(though terran could restore the infect). The main goal hoever should be ensnaring them and flank muta+scourge kill them. Spire upgrades should become handy. With queens nest already up, teching hive with greatspire and/or defilers in order to further delay terran from moving(savior style). With a lot of gas, greatspire units should tear terran down on this map. ...Theorycrafting.... | ||
