44+40+36+32+28+24+20+16+12+8+4 or (44+4)x5.5 = 264 matches If it is bo7 then we will see 1056 - 1848 games in the 08/09 season. That's a ridiculous amount of games! That's not even counting the playoffs. | ||

You guys are having so much trouble with how many games they have to play, what did we say the average IQ on TL was? It tells you that in every round, every team will play against 11 other teams So that's 11 * 12 / 2 = 66 Four rounds: 66 * 4 = 264 Upwards of seven games: 264 * 7 = 1848 games... It's really not that hard... If you are unconvinced, think about it this way, forget that every team has to play 11 matches. Think about it as every team has to play against every other team once in every round. Since there are 12 teams, we have 11+10+9+...+1 = 66 matches in every round (if this is too hard to grasp, try 3 ppl shaking hands with each other once, how many handshakes? 4 ppl? 5 ppl?) 4 rounds and 7 games per match = 66 * 4 * 7 = 1848 It's magic... + Show Spoiler + Added subliminal message for fun | ||
