Game 3: Hitchhiker
CJEntus’s Iris (Byun HyungTae) became the 3rd place finisher at the Shinhan Bank Starleague Season3 with a final match score of 3:0, while also obtaining a seed for the next Starleague.

Iris, executing a 1Factory-1Starport build, attacked his opponent’s base with marines and a vulture and grasped his opponent’s unit/build setup. Casy’s build consisted of marines and tanks.

Then, Iris started building a command center in order to expand to his natural while using cloaked wraiths to harass inside of Casy’s main base. Though his expansion was faster than his opponent’s, he built two scanners in order to clear the minefield with tanks, thus securing his natural.

After this, Iris pushed across towards Casy’s main base with wraiths and tanks, brushing past Casy’s goliaths. Using the wraiths to extend his vision, Iris used his siege tanks to raze the enemy tanks (using the wraiths to help the tanks utilize their full 12-unit attack range).

Eventually, Iris killed off all of his opponent’s goliaths and tanks, preventing him from expanding to his natural, earning a GG and a 3rd place decision.
