Cool stuff, I have herO[join], Woongjin Stars as team, and TY from the optimal team here... but I also have Shine on anti-team, and he suddenly became as good as he was supposed to be from the start of Proleague.

Puma as a pinata had to make me chuckle. I'm always glad to see him win though since he's on my cellar ranked Fantasy team.

I did a little fun thing on FPL for my anti i ignored everybodys name and just picked based entirely on points and randomly. DO NOT DO THIS ... i ended up with "innovation(bogus), Terminator(sang) and trap as my anti. Needless to say this has not gone well for me.
I'm in the bubblewrap league ... i just keep getting popped

So true currently the proleague games are not VERY MUCH different from random husky games, when in broodwar, u could be sure that only top 10 players have a chance to beat flash in bo5 (the same for fantasy, bisu, jd...), now u cant be too suprised when no-name white boy (thorzain i.e.) kill top korean pro.

JYP winning against stork, and Jaedong, Puma, Zenio and Hero lost all their matches. Would have never called that one out.

In fairness, the Starcraft II scene looks a lot different than the Brood War scene did (I might also add that M18M, who was hardly ever a top 10 player, beat Flash in a televised game). Unlike in Brood War, the KeSPA players are still playing the catch-up game with the eSF pros who have been playing the game for much longer and have much more experience. On another note, there aren't many "no-name white boys" that can beat Korean pros in Best of 5's. It's incredibly rare.

Still looks pretty close. Plenty of time to put together a consistent string of results.

on the optimal team thing, why does it say that reality has only 8 points? doesn't he have 13?

Gah im going through PL withdrawal, I miss the format and the players. I think its quite clear at this point that the difference in skill between eSF and KeSPA is practically negligible bar life. SK and bogus made the round of 8 two times in a row, and continue being mediocre in PL (I mean SK is currently the 5th best player on WJS by PL stats, and at one point he was losing so much I was worried they will bench him for a while). Top level SCII is inconsistent for now, and I think this much is clear just by combining PL and GSL viewing experiences. I understand that life is amazing and no one can maybe touch him at this point, but remember? SK took him down 4-0 last season, and people were calling DRG the guaranteed winner of his ro16group too, but to no avail. I think this inconsistency makes it a very exciting season, where we are still uncertain who is going to be the king, or at least a clear "the one to beat". At the moment its only Life in all of SCII, but lets see if he can maintain this dominance, as I think he will really have his work cut out for him in the months to come.

Well, I was told that current foreign scene is already behind PL in terms of skill . And PL looks, as was said, extremly inconsistent. But I watch korean PL at most. Btw did u guys see Stephano in PL? I was laughing so hard when he took bases, build 20+ spines and just sit whole game till he had 200/200 broodlords. That was so boring and funny

I really dont like pro league, in a BO1 literally anyone can win... It hardly showcases skill compared to GSL or any other at least BO3 matches
