So much potential, but I absolutely understand not wanting to keep working at a job you no longer enjoy.
Good luck Sea, and may we find someone who makes mech work vs Protoss

Reading between the lines in Nazgul's statement it is clear that he wasn't happy with SC2 and the direction it is heading with Hots around the corner. Blizzard needs to get their act together and realize that their succesor to WoL is causing people to retire.

We terrans want more mech play and less 600 apm bio. Unfortunately it seems that the later style will be more powerful than ever at the expense of positional mech play.

Good bye Sea and good luck in the future. It was soo much fun to watch your stream and follow your games at IPL5.
The mech game vs Naniwa is one of my most memorable moments in SC2 ever!

I will remember Sea as the guy in SC2 who beat Naniwa with lots and lots of tanks.

I'm pretty shocked completely unexpected. Good luck to him in his future endeavors wish you the best.

Being one of few BW-fans still out there i dont care at all about whats going on in the SC2 world. But when i heard that Sea was joining liquid it actually made me really excited.
Known and loved him ever since his TL attack!-apperance.
I think that retirering is a good decision if he cant find the passion. You should end on a good note, and he certainly did.

Good luck with your future endavours sea!
Bisu[about JD]=I was scared (laughs). The force emanating from his facial expression was so manly that I was even a little jealous.

Nooooo, Sea T_T_T_T_T

I can't believe this... I would have thought IPL was such a good experience for him... he did quite well and seemed like he was having a great time. I wanted to ask for a picture together and actually get to know him but didn't get around to it, thinking "there's always next time." But now there isn't...

Such a short time, but I hope it was a meaningful learning experience. Hope Sea continues to hang around here!

Seems a little bit embarrassing, and a waste of time + resources just jumping ship and retiring very shortly after joining a renowned gaming team like liquid. A bit BM and unprofessional if you ask me. Just shouldn't have joined in the first place if the interest in professional gaming wasn't all there anymore (as opposed to gambling on the hope that the motivation might resurface). That's really, really disappointing. I mean obviously its better to just call it quits then lie to yourself that you're motivated and pretend.. But then theres the counter-argument of why would you join in the first place?

It's not his fault SC2 turned out to be boring to him.
SC1 died, but he didn't want to stop being a pro gamer, so of course he started playing SC2. He got offers from teams, and accepted one of them. Then, after playing SC2, he realized it wasn't fun, and quit. What's wrong with that?
If it's stupid but it works, then it's not stupid* (*Or: You are stupid for losing to it, and gotta git gud)

Bye Sea, I always enjoyed your games, I shall remember you as a BW legend.

Funny though, looks like Nazgul is disappointed in SC2
