Rooting for Seed and DRG even though I think Byun - DRG would be the more entertaining final. Can't abandon my IM Brotoss when he needs me most.

At the same time, it would be good a protoss winning. Would be glad if it could be Seed.

Awesome write up, and big words putting Stephano's ZvP as better than DRG's, though I would probably agree with you.
I want MC to win vs DRG, but I really want a good old fashioned TvZ slug fest in the finals. I hope Byun beats seed, hopefully using tanks in the late game!

I don't know how Fionn can write such a comprehensive, acute, and well thought out preview that hypes up Seed and Byun and how waxangel can somehow de-hype the matchup of MC and DRG and even go as far as to say, "well DRG is atleast as good as Nerchio and Stephano".

The second preview was piss poor, it was short, and didn't come even near the point. MC lost at Homestory Cup and NASL, yes admist the most grueling schedule thats ever been attempted in SC2, he flew from the Taeja Ro8 match directly to Canada for NASL without any rest and crushed Puma 3-0, proving he had ben practicing almost extensively PvT lately. MC has been focusing on GSL this season, and he practiced almost solely PvT games playing Ryung, MKP, and Tajea in all his matchups, its no wonder his PvZ ability slid. The question is can the two days preparation back in Korea allow him to get back to form in PvZ? That would be a much better story line than "foreigners are catching up, these two aren't as good anymore, oh well, i'll go w/ DRG.

Seriously, after reading that preview you'd think that Seed and Byun are a lot more hyped/decorated players than MC and DRG because of how poor the second preview was.

Such garbage. Listen, if you're gonna write for teamliquid, atleast put some god damn effort in okay? thanks.

lol calm your tits dude. Wax has been doing previews for a long time in case you haven't noticed. Since you're the only one who's complaining about something like this, I would absolutely LOVE for you to write a preview article about the DRG-MC matches, and make it worth reading. If you can't, then I would advise you to shut up and appreciate the work that needs to be put in for these articles. At the end of the day, Wax is still a respected member of TL, while you are just another nobody.

I dont know how to put this. Cmon guys! Just some cunstructive critism. Now a lot of the stuff you write, how you write it and the way you write it, is bash worthy. But just clear some things up like slight bias and clear your minds and you two can be great writers. But these consecutive posts and essays really fall victim to the same streak. Not a streak of personal stress and bias form me, but rather a universal fault in the way you do it. Cmon you two

I'm really pulling for DongRaeGu, but hope all the series are as exciting and thrilling as their potential would indicate. So nice that 1/2 of the finals will be a completely new, mostly unexpected competitor.

That's just the style contrasts between the two writers. Wax is much more conservative, almost scientific in his approach to his write-ups. Fionn's is highly liberal, and could probably put the spin to hype up anything, including people contesting in tic-tac-toe.

Thanks for reposting here and spamming my PM inbox. My opinion is my opinion, the second preview lacked passion for the two most celebrated players of their races. To me, that says a lack of effort, though maybe i've read Wax's previews in the past that were great, here it came out flat in contrast to what was written above it. TL standard for articles is generally some of the highest in the scene, frankly, it was disappointing because i look forward to these articles.

Sorry if i ruffled the feathers of the internet police, maybe you ought to get the mods to ban everyone that doesn't sing praise and avoid straight forward critique.

Stephano won against MC only 1 time and he suddenly became the best ZvP in the world? -_-"

Stephano is not better than DRG. If you put DRG vs MC on the NASL map pool DRG 4-0's him. Hell he still might 3-0 him tonight. MC has not looked at that absolute top tier in PvZ lately.

Drg zvp is pretty boring passive investor spine play. I think that's why he appears weak in the matchup. But imo that makes drg scary cos its like his old zvt which was purely the best mutaling blind which most terans couldn't overcome anyways.

I am hoping for a drg byun finals and a byun victory.
