I like the live environment and if I want to watch non live games I can easily find free ones on youtube or easily find the results of important matches online. Just my opinion on this new system and how both GSL and MLG are losing casual fans.

Its hard enough supporting the GSL living on the west coast staying up till 2am to watch games, but now I have to pay? Like many people I presume, I have stuff to do during the day and don't neccessairly have time to watch VODs or even watch every live match. I just like watching a set or 2 and going to sleep, this along with MLG making me pay is hurting the casual fan. I simply don't find the investment worth it to pay to watch a few games. I like the live environment and if I want to watch non live games I can easily find free ones on youtube or easily find the results of important matches online. Just my opinion on this new system and how both GSL and MLG are losing casual fans. It's like $20 bucks for 2 months of GSL. It really isn't much to scrounge up or even ask your parents for. Hell, if you have siblings or friends, you can split it and share an account. What they're charging for the complete package is a bit much for an upfront cost (even though overall it's very worth it), so I split my account with my friend and we just paid for the premium everything. Also, the free games on YouTube generally don't have GSL Code S caliber players playing against other GSL Code S caliber players. And it's much harder to find the unknown by yourself, whereas the teams are bringing them out without end during GSTL. Just saying. And GSL/GSTL is always pay to watch unless you watch live. They let you watch the first set for free on VODs, but that's about it.
