Have to say this. While people never agree with me, the Super Tournament was by far my favourite tournament and favourite result. It was simply awesome to see Polt's domination and all the cool little storylines in the one tourney.

I didn't watch as much SC2 in the last months as I used to, but I still watched nearly every GSL match (and absolutely nothing else, actually.) It's just all I need <3

Amazing and emotional write-up. John's speeches, Jinro the foreigner hope, MC the Bosstoss, MMA crawling his way to fame (very very tiny critique, DRG should have been included here as a dual segment), IM's reign, and hell bitbybit for some humor: you capture all of these events and more in a tear jerking yet amazing way. Thanks for making me not feel ashamed to be up at 3am watching GSL, lol.

And more specifically, even though I know you'll never see this, but thank you John. When you gave your speech at the GSL/Blizzcon finals, it brought tears to me. Even though I know no one IRL who follows E-Sports, you made me realize that I'm still part of an amazing community and that I should be proud of that.

Kinda think community headlines and TL news articles should switch places (and / or ad an preview thumbnail on TL articles).

I found out about this one trough reddit and it's a shame for people who don't visit it to not read this amazing piece.

Serious nerdchills not only from the song but the combination with storylines, still remember the awesome games from Jinro and who could forget San's taking GSL by storm.

Only thing I find missing is perhaps one section entirely for GSTL, I fond it the discovery of the year, and epic games where always guaranteed.

For me the Slayers/IM finals and the buildup to them are as cool as FD-s storyline and I wish there was a montage for that

For those of you who are feeling nostalgic and didn't catch the announcement, the VODs for GSL Open Season 1, 2, and 3 have all been made free-to-watch. I've been going through the old Open Season 1 VODs since I wasn't into SC2 at the time, and it's pretty awesome! (And hilarious.)
