This reminds me of how much I loved the GSL Open Seasons... Everything about them was so amazing, wish they had a few open seasons at the start of each year instead of bringing back the previous players!

MKP's impact on TvZ is probably the biggest change to sc2 that we've seen yet. It went from being "you can't use marines passed "x" time" to "marines are the most incredible unit in the game".

MKP for MVP of sc2 in 2011 IMO

Awesome article, so much nostalgia. I'm a little surprised that Squirtle's teamleague run wasn't included. For me anyway, that was huge. He all-killed in the very first teamleague match and was instrumental in revolutionizing pvt along with San in the refugee protoss/amulet style.

I remember watching MMA's debut, it was love at first sight. The casters (tastosis) didn't give him much credit even when he stomped ret in code A. Even to this day they still don't for some reason...
