With the form Genius is in, he should smash this group hard.

I feel like DRG is stronger than Nestea at the moment, but as it's been stated, this group could go any way. I'd love for both Nestea and DRG to get through, if nothing else for some good racial balance. Can't wait to watch these games!

Parting's stealing some well-deserved un-used potential and spotlight from Bomber in StarTale.

With none of the colossal hype or fanbase to boot. This guy's proved himself via self-made process. Commendations all day.

So Genius and Nestea? I'll be sure to hide this article from my betting circle.

I think people need to consider the whole picture when looking at MC's games. The way he opened against Ganzi both games could have transitioned into longer games. Instead, he saw some weakness, and decided to pull the trigger, and when it comes to trigger pulling MC is the best in the business. In neither game could I see anything that indicated he wanted to all-in from the get go, I could be wrong. MC lives and dies on the quality of the reads he makes in game, and as of late they have been spot on. It is a different style then the traditional "safe" play many western pros seem to judge as the best way to play, and MC is often judged poorly because of it, but it works.

In my own predictions, Nestea will 2-0 DRG, but in 2 very close back and forth games, and Genius will roflstomp Marineking.
Then, Genius will take out Nestea, advancing as 1st place, and DRG will take out Marineking in 2 back and forth games. Finally, it will come down to Nestea vs DRG, and this one is hard to predict. I'll give Nestea the edge, going 2-1 against DRG.

This is mostly based on the way Genius has played in the past rounds. It was just something else, and if he keeps it up, i don't see anybody besides maybe MC stopping him.
Let a man play chess, and tell him that every pawn is his friend. Let him think both bishops holy. Let him remember happy days in the shadows of his castles. Let him love his queen. Watch him lose them all.

Interesting that you regarded the last game between Jjakji and Parting as the better match. Both were absolutely amazing, but I found game 1 of that set to be more exciting.

elimination game made it more tense at the time D:

Hmm yeah I'd have to say set 1 was better, even with the match in mind. 2nd game was really intense too and had lots of micro and long/frequent battles, but i liked 1 more.

Interesting, I never considered this o.o I'll have to look more carefully next time. Thanks for sharing this

Yeah, it's true. But let's say he sees weakness in 95% of his games xD But it's possible he doesn't plan for it, he's notoriously good at knowing when to be aggressive.

i have no idea who is going to make it out of this group. It seems like each one of them has a chance. But I'd give the biggest to Nestea and DRG just coz of their status in the league.
