I think Drg is full of shit. Dropping 2 games and almost losing the series is more than looking hard. He should give Thorzain more credit.

even DRG mentioned thorzain wasn't at that top korean terran level. I keep telling people that 3-2 looked pretty close, but it was actually DRG favored heavily. I think DRG was more caught off guard by the different playstyle, like yugioh, but once its figured out, its done for.

Hmm, I think DRG has caught onto the "cocky is cool" trend though I don't think that's the best way to pull it off. ThorZain took the series to game 5. Gotta give him some respect for that.

Great wrietup, but the white text in the DRG interview is unreadable....you have to highlight it to see it.

That picture of DRG winning is really awesome hehe - i liked the write up, but the white text is a bit hard to look at :p even though he couldn't close i was really impressed with Tzain! Taking DRG to the edge is no easy task!

DRG took risks when he was ahead a game that he would never take in a GSL game. Both games he lost he went for an extremely early lair and spire tech. That isn't typical of what he does in games he's serious about.

DRG has mentioned numerous times that he will make games interesting even if it's risky. It's my opinion that he just felt so confident against Thorzain that he felt he could get away with unnecessary risks if he felt he could still win.

Arrogant? Yes, but DRG is so good at TvZ I don't blame him at all for it and we got a very exciting series because of it, but to face facts he's got easily top 3 ZvT in the world. If he told me at the end of the day he was toying with Thorzain for my enjoyment I would believe him.
