I hope SlayerS can make a comeback today! + Show Spoiler + After all of them had lost early in their own individual matches in GSL, I think some good GSTL wins will really help boost their morale

Because the tournament lasts so long, they are letting FXO play all their matches in the first 5 weeks (so they don't have to stay in Korea for 10 weeks, as it's expensive and there is other foreign tournaments they want to participate in) and F.United plays in the second 5 weeks (again, so the foreigners don't have to spend all 10 weeks of the tournament there). Or something like that.

You can't really blame them for that, you should blame the GSL for not having a proper qualifier. I agree with you that FXO is representing the foreigner scene whether they like it or not, it's just the reality of it even if they claim they're not. Best of luck tonight FXO, hope you have someone to snipe SC -_-

I think it's a bit of both, they may not be as strong as the top Koreans but they've definitely not been playing their best in the booths. It has to be good for them to give it a go, both for training and stage experience.

It makes a lot of sense for FXO to be spending time in Korea because they're all drastically improving. Even if they never get to the level of the Koreans, it's good that they're working hard and getting better. Let's say you like to play a sport, say tennis. If you can choose to practice with somebody who's a great tennis player (but not necessarily one of the best) or Roger Federer, who would you rather practice with? Obviously Roger Federer because there's so much more that you can learn from somebody with more skill and dedication to the sport. It's the same thing with going to Korea. Not only is FXO playing in the GSTL and GSL, they're also practicing in the Korean practice setting against the best players in the world. While they're living in Korea, they are being completely immersed in the Korean lifestyle and are improving at a pace that they cannot improve at outside. Think of HuK, who went to Korea as a decent foreigner, and now he's one of the top players in Korea. Don't hate on FXO, they're working hard and improving and that's all anybody really expected.
