edit: I totally agree with Jim Lloyds article. The reason I've watched the NASL this season and will continue to watch is because of the matchups it has created, bringing korean and foreigners together on a consistent basis. GL this weekend, Sheth fighting

Trials and tribulations, those there were no shortage of. Worst sentences in the English language, that this is one of. But seriously, I'm psyched for the finals. Sheth fighting!

If Idra sees it, he can cancel the hatch and win. If Idra sees the spire, he gets a couple spore crawlers, gets hydras out and wins. The nature of how Zenio played was crossing his fingers and hoping Idra didn't scout in time. On July 08 2011 10:35 Takezou wrote: Yeah seriously 10 pool and mutas = cheesy? On July 08 2011 11:01 Perchloric wrote: Takezou, I'm obviously talking about game 2, where Zenio open hatch first (not 10 pool like you said), and I fail to see how mutalisk usage is considered cheesy in any MU whatsoever. In ZvZ, mutalisks have a place in large maps where they can be used for map control in a small timing, the way Zenio used them was clearly meant to be a surprise and win the game. If Idra scouts it, Zenio was floating 1400 minerals and gas, so if Idra can deny, get out a couple of infestors and hydralisks, than he can easily counter push and win. The way Zenio went mutalisks on such a small map can be considered all in. On July 08 2011 11:12 xbankx wrote: Zenio comments are really biased. The guy is a ZvZ beast. Its like saying Nestea vs July, Nestea makes mutas=cheese. The game is revolved around calculated risk. If the game you're referring to is on Tal'Darim altar, there is a point to using the mutalisks. On large maps they can deny expansions, kill overlords, and help contain. I really didn't like the way Zenio played, and I'm allowed to say that. Unless you'd rather have me just blindly watching a replay and typing out every action that happens, there is going to be bias in any analysis of play. The way Zenio played in these two best of threes was very sloppy and luck oriented. It works, because it won, and he's obviously a good player to even pull off risky plays, but in my mind, that's not how Starcraft should be played. You only take risks if you have to, you don't take them because you're the better player.

Sen also did a Muta play against Zenio but Zenio's lone infestor missed the only available fungal and lost the game as a result. You can dislike a player's method of using certain unit, but that does not mean that player's wrong for that instance. As long as he wins, that's all that matters.

A win is a win, macro or 10 pool or 6 pool matters not. Idra did that to Sen and won that game, though lost the series. Please don't play the what-if-xyz-scouted game. Cheese is legi., regardless you like it or not. Sen also did a Muta play against Zenio but Zenio's lone infestor missed the only available fungal and lost the game as a result. I never say Zenio is a bad player at all in the write up. All I said is that he "He took a lot of risks and relied on surprise tactics for almost every ZvZ. I wouldn't expect him to beat Sen in the grand finals." but apparently that means that I think he is a terrible player :/
