TT1 barely got his tech out in time (medivacs) for when TT1's big gateway push hit is front. Nada forced TT1's army to retreat and was able to chase it down and force TT1 to gg.

Loved the writeup but I was expecting a note about the lack of NA players making it. Sure it might be Korea against the world but EU against NA is just as good of a storyline.

Excellent write-up with some nice 'artistry.' My biggest question is what the following quote means -

If it’s disingenuous to call the NASL “North American,” maybe we could change its name to something more appropriate for what it really is . . . how about the Global Starcraft II League?

Is the author saying the NASL is just a GSL lite? Or that it should merge with the GSL? How does it having the same name as the prestigious Korean tournament make any sense, let alone qualify as a more apt league name. Was just curious.

His point was that the NASL is just as global, actually probably more-so, then the GSL.

Great Writeup, I especially enjoyed the Korean Overlords section, I think it showed some very positive thoughts/comments on the NASL and the involvement of Koreans. I hope that this season a foreigner can take it, but it could get harder with each consecutive NASL Season. But the game quality I'm sure will get better as a result! I hope NASL continues in popularity for the future, it doesn't suit my schedule atm to watch it but I think it's a fantastic tournament, hopefully more and more Koreans will wake up at crazy hours to watch it just like the NA people do for GSL

Agree with a lot of that except Moon over July. July will have to play pretty terrible to lose to Moon, or just get incredibly unlucky. In my opinion, he's far and away a better player.....at least as of right now.

Will this be Re-streamed in korea with korean comentators or will the korean fans tune in to the english stream? considering that the majority of the players are from south korea and you guys want to call it the real global starcraft 2 tournament?

i'd be exited to read about what korean wievers think about this league =P

Other then that one question i am nothing but pumped about this tournament and will be watching every minute of the stream!!!

GL with hosting one of the best american tournament ever!

Wow a French win against one top level player! This is enough to shine to my eyes. I hope tod will do well in his 8th(!!!!!) WCG.

Really nice article I enjoyed reading it even if I don't understand the 5 brackets system to make itto grand finals, as I have not followed NASL. The format is not exciting enough.
