I'm glad to see Happy finally win something. He's been sitting of the top of the EU ladder for such a long time.

It's kind of been the policy of mine to NOT include KOTH events due to the fact that they're usually a bit less prize oriented, have varied prize pools, offer monetary rewards awkwardly, grant varied 'unfair' opportunities to players based upon order of play, are difficult to report, and are often confusing and poorly reported by organizers. FXOpen puts on far better shows than most of course, so it's hard to overlook these. I'm going to leave these out for now, but perhaps I'll look into it for the future. Especially since he just 3-2'ed MC while Kas got 4-0'ed by MC. I'm sure there's plenty of voices on ThorZain's side, whether we agree with it or not.

Pretty insane prize money for a two weeks period. Hope you stick with this until December at least so we can have an overall statistic for money in western SC2 tournaments in 2011. :D Kas is a goddamn machine, he plays so many cups and places so well so consistently. Among the best Terrans in Europe no doubt.

Would be nice to see him play once in open online cup or some big lan... He did fail to make it out of the group stages of that Rakaka tournament to send someone to Korea, and Nightend ended up beating him pretty comprehensively (3-1) at the Gathering. === Thanks as usual for an excellent recap Mikilatov =)

Seems to me that the US isnt getting as much cups as EU server ? Or are EU ppl winning them too ? I mean yeah you got your invite only showmatches but weekly cups are the most important the up and coming young players wich in most cases have most talent than those playing in showmatches etc ...

Also, while Thorzain has unarguably the best TvP in Europe, maybe the world, Kas is a much more well-rounded player, having almost 70% win-rate in all MU's. Remember, ThorZain has sub-50 winrate in TvT, however we shall see come next weekend with the TSL. ThorZain is sort of a TvP specialist, while Kas is a reeeeally good Terran.
