The other two... Well, what else can you expect.. Idra's jealousy really shows. http://www.justin.tv/teamqq/b/280083999 Maybe naive of me but I'm actually pretty surprised at that. Comes across pretty mean and spiteful. I'm not surprised by that at all to be honest. They talk so much bull. Yes, they more and more show themself as quite immature and amateuristic in my opinion. InControl needs / wants / hopes to be the face of NASL, but he acts like the average rioting teenager with a stream and IdrA is just vending his unhealthy amount of frustration. Not really impressing in my opinion :-/
The only thing not really impressing is that people take shit too seriously. this is what they DO, if you don't know how they roll or cant handle their opinions, then go blog about your hurt little feelings somewhere else.
damn, TL got so srs all of a sudden...
PS IdrA's code S. amateuristic? show us your code S, then talk.

Well, your language isn't really impressive either to be honest.
I've been following InControl and Idra for a long time and without a few exceptions, I've always listened to their casts, their complaints and so on. In fact, I quite like a part of their attitude and I absolutely feel neutral towards their remarks, despite what you might believe regarding my mental state or possiblly hurt feelings.
However, InControl is trying to establish himself as a more important character within the Starcraft scene and with becoming more known and important, a person must understand that this brings some responsibilities with it as well. I won't say that InControl is not allowed to make sarcastic remarks or to criticize people, but it's just stupid for a possible co-organiser of NASL(?) to make fun about a person's accent, criticize people without argumentation or not being open for criticism himself. He just doesn't represent himself as well as you would expect him he would, from the same point of view that Husky is just stupid for making fun of Idra for no apparent reason while he his without doubt the most known (and absolutely not the best) caster within the Starcraft community.
So, I never gave direct criticism to him as a person and I'm not directly offended, but his overall attitude is not something that is reflecting a well respected person that might be in charge (at least for a part) with the NASL; an organisation that is extremely important for the future of competitive Starcraft (2).
Then again, nothing against sarcasm and black humor, but there's a difference when a random factory worker makes a statement about his hatred for christians and when an important minister would make the exact same remark.
Also, you didn't understood my point regarding the word 'amateuristic'. In fact, where did I even mention Idra's achievements? I was referring to his behaviour which I, to be honest, find childish and amateuristic. I have a lot of respect for Idra for going and staying in South Korea for several years and playing a videogame in a competitive way, but his persona and remarks as a whole are nothing to be respectful of in my opinion. I would rather see Idra making a constructive and well written thread on TeamLiquid regarding balance problems than having an account that exists of minor remarks, warnings and bans or just vending pure frustration through an online talkshow. So, nothing negative regarding his achievements, which everyone should respect to be honest.

They're NOT priests or 'ministers' or whatever you called it. They're allowed to have their opinions (which some of us actually agree with!)
And Kelly does have an accent, and people were going to make fun of it eventually. This is the internet dude.
People having a laugh over an accent isn't the worst thing that's ever happened on the net...no need to get so riled up..

am I the only one who chuckled at Huk's unintended "hates people who play games" irony/pun?
Huk's a fantastic player, but after seeing his stream, and postgame interviews/taunts I'd be inclined to group his attitude right in there with Idra's and iNc's (both also ridiculous players). It blows my mind how angry/frustrated people can be when they play video games for a living. I can't imagine my day-to-day joy if that's what I was doing instead of full-time work and school..
Regardless, good luck to Huk next round..

true true! I just hope Huk can back up his postgame ceremonies with actual gsl victories.. =/ lol otherwise it's going to be like someone throwing egg in your face. Which coincidentally has happened to me once. Not intentionally though. Kids aiming for the roof.
What can ya do. =[
Edit; I think Idra having gone so far in the gsl, at least for me, gives him an opinion worthy of some respect. Plus he's one of my fave zergs! XD

Lol so much hate...."too many forcefields rawr" lololololol angry much?

where is video of huks celebration?

I have to admit, I was fairly disgusted by IdrA's utterly childish reaction to HuK's little post-game bit, but I appreciate him at least partially owning it on SOTG, and admitting that in context, it wasn't really that douchey. The initial reaction was pretty bad, though.
If InControl wants to be the public face of gaming, however, he needs to tone down about 99% of what he says. I like his humor, and I was chuckling too, but the public isn't going to see it the same way, nor should they.

LoL, IdrA just said "he is such a little looser" after seeing the ceremonie... Don't understand all the mess about that, it's not rage, he is just expressing his disagreement with HuK's cockiness.
On the other side, Incontrol talk about Kelly is pretty harsh, especially the moment about how a completly drunk Nick Tasteless should "pound her into a little bed"...

There was also some muttering about, "god I fuckin hate that kid." You have to have the sound up pretty loud to hear that one, but it was there. That was the bit that really bugged me, tbh. I'd have lolled and called him a loser too, just because the whole thing was so funny. [[Edit]] Not because he's bad (I <3 HuK to death), but the whole thing seemed a bit silly, especially in formal, low-key South Korea.

"I really hate fake people who just like to talk shit or play games."
Why he hates people who play games? I'm confused.

Love to see how people in this thread insults (or poorly criticize) HuK and end the post witht hings like "...but I hope he does well in next game..." and then gets BANNED because of their "fakeness". That's the FAKE people whom HuK was shushing, people who is double-faced or blindly biased. I just think HuK is doing well, and he is defending something of great importance not only in games, but in life, and that thing is called RESPECT, so it might be an accent, or a haircut, a voice, or whatever, but people must stop talking sh*t of other people... GOGOGO HuK, keep your good job and your nice attitude against crappy people! (and of course keep wining!) HuK hwaiiting!

I don't understand how civil criticism correlates to disdain. Someone doesn't have to be an adoring fan to wish someone well. I feel it's a lot easier to wish good things upon someone than spread more toxicity than what's already present here on these forums. It doesn't make me a fake person to opine that I'm not the biggest fan of Huk while still wishing him good luck. It just makes me a better person than those who choose to spit venom at anyone who doesn't bow at Huk's feet. Furthermore, I don't think Huk needs you to further explain what people he was hushing, and point out who those "crappy, fake people" are. I also find the idea that Huk has become the "defender of Justice, Honor, and Respect" a bit far-fetched. He's a good SC2 player, not Robocop.
..and I DO hope he does well in his next game(s)

HuK HWAITING! Well done and GL next round!

HuK wasn't being cocky with his ceremony. It was directed to the community, not Curious.
I listened to the last 10 minutes of the idra, incontrol, jp commentary...Wow. iNcontrol's racist Kelly impression is just bad.

well you're from Polad... kidding much okay :p
he just means that people who troll for no obvious reason or with least amount of credit into it.
Like his honest opinion regarding the issue of a certain commentator and during the SOTG yesterday, incontrol was basically being a hyprocite regarding that matter...

Congrats Huk. Hope to see you progress all the way through Code A!!
