And then to say Flash Stork and Jaedong are the only three good players in starcraft, but not include Fantasy? Fantasy the guy taking Flash to a game 5 in an incredibly close tvt semifinal last OSL while Stork was at home sitting on his ass? and then making the finals this OSL when all the maps are horribly imbalanced against terran? give me a break Fantasy has proved himself 10000 times over to be one of the immediate next best after Flash and Jaedong. And if you still somehow think the finals between Stork and Fantasy is going to be one sided and decisive you're in for a surprise.
You caught me, I was actually trying to promote Calm and just doing a really bad job of it because I write like Calm multitasks. Busted. I still think Starcraft is 90% a game of chance though and Calm got unlucky that siege tanks are really good. How could he have known that this game mass siege tanks be able to mow down clumped hydralisks?

This is Starcraft, not Starcraft II. The game has been worked out and there is a right way to play it. I know the right way to play it and if you have access to any Stork, Flash or Jaedong vods then you can too. Somehow these guys, professional players, not only demonstrated they don't know how to play the game but also led me to question their ability to get themselves dressed in the morning (hey Fantasy, no detection? Just unwall!).
This is the OSL semifinal, the final four players competing for the most prestigious and unattainable progaming title in the world, I'm gonna hold them to standards above that of the GSL code A.

Great write-up, I liked every bit, and I agreed with almost all of it. I found the serie pretty entertaining, and probably would have given 3s to most matches juste for that. But yeah, they played terribly. That being said, speaking of Fantasy, he's only that retarded in TvZ. As for Calm I don't know, he might only be stupid at random times and when he's playing Fantasy ?
As for the SC2 thing, I'd probably give negative mark on the scale writers are using here. Clearly, a 0-5 scale is not enough to compare the two games, something lllike 0-20 would be better (I'd like it, more possibility to distinguish).
Anyway, I was greatly entertained, many thanks guys !

Ladies and Gentlemen! For all of you who missed this series because there were way more enjoyable things to do - like having root canal treatment! I'm proud to announce that Calm and Fantasy managed to produce unique Best of Five with lot more plot twists and turns than you could expect from Flash vs Jaedong melee. Only in this surreal, bombastic struggle of titans you'll have the chance to experience the beauty and strategical mastery  versus  can only provide! This includes:
- Terran seeing fast Lurkers and instantly letting them in w/o detection.
- Terran falling for Captain Obvious's Lurker trap by chasing Mutalisks.
- Zerg losing two dozens of Drones due to the visit of two sad Wraiths.
- Zerg being lucky and unlucky with 4 Pool (the latter executed badly).
- Zerg charging all his Hydralisks into narrow choke locked with Tanks.
- Zerg not expanding beyond 4th base vs mech despite map control.
- Zerg losing 1/3 of his Hydras before he even got to make Broodlings.
Don't accept imitations!
Don't call Day[9] to cast it!
Don't look for similar games by C- ICCup players!

woah... normaly I like these writeups but so much hate against decent players like calm and fantasy.... cant you save the "I hate this player and he sucks so much" for players who actualy are "pretty bad" like jaehoon, killer, frozean and those.
Except for that I love that there still are people out there liking BW as much as me, keep it up .

The 3 kill Jaehoon did in winners league and the AK Frozean had means they are less in the firing line than Calm and Fantasy.
They both played SOO AWFUL. Whenever these two play a set it's like an ocean of terrible.

I personally absolutely loved the write-up:D
Although im more on Waxangel's side of "so bad its entertaining", but i also agree that it would be painfull to watch it twice.... I remember, during the series i thought, "well, having something else than FvJ is cool and stuff, but ffs, when i said I was happy, that this season we will have new players, I did not know that it will be this bad...."

Flash burst into the scene and crushed bisu in a Bo3 in osl.
This was during Bisu's era of dominance.
He also took him out in a bo5 in the following year when he won this first osl title.
Flash also beat Stork in a bo5 in that same year.
When Flash started dominating, people said it was because of his unparalleled tvp..The way he ripped through jangbi on colloseum when jangbi was having a great season is still fresh in my mind.
