The koreans aren't that far ahead of foreigners so I could honestly see a korean not winning this tournament depending on who all qualifies for this ^^ Of course the skill gap is no where near as big as it was in BW but it is inevitably going to widen with time. Who knows how far ahead they will be in march? Oh and i assume the koreans will have to play on the NA server? I hope latency doesn't become too big of an issue. edit: ^mordk, you would seriously invite haypro over Nestea? Where is Rainbow? Marineking?

Pretty sure the TLAF players knew ahead of time that this event was coming as many of them hinted at it in interviews, but I could be wrong. If you don't have a stream on TL then you ought to set up one first. A simple search would suffice. Then again if you aren't featured, your application for casting the prelim rounds of the Opens will most likely get turned down. They have a vigorous process for screening, so I would look here first: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=175682

Marineking? Sure, I'd like to see liquid's players on the tournament. If you make me choose the awesomest available, I'd have to change that list a little bit, I'm not considering only my appreciation of skill in the players I'd like to see play ![]()

I feel like we're going to get a lot of nobodies in the TSL and it will probably be dominated by the asians/gsl foreigners as they certainly won't be nobodies. doesnt matter if a supposed good player cant manage to qualify throught one of the qualifiers then he doesnt even deserve to compete in the main tour anyways

TL opens have been won by Select and Drewbie, certainly not no names, with other top players such as Morrow, Tyler, TLO, Ret, ect being highly placed. No name scrubs will not be dominating. There's also just as many non-winners that qualify from consistent finishes. While I think gsl players may dominate, it won't be because it was a bunch of nobodies from the rest of the world.
