the organization of the columns and stuff were kind of chaotic. Depending on how you put this together and how disillusioned I am that I have free time, I could help with this. Not really making content but arranging it. the design advice I would give would be don't be afraid of white space. Some of the organizational issues happened because you felt the need to fill the pages to the brim with text or images. white space isn't the end of the world and could help. the thor corner was probably the best designed article. the advertisements on a whole were really great. Here's hoping that you keep up with this quality, 'cause i think the content is great. It's just kind of hard to read. | ||

One semi-short comment: I saw a lot of typos and grammatical errors in the beginning which leads me to think the issue wasn't given a lot of time for gathering the usually required critical distance between the initial writing and publication. Normally I wouldn't say anything as this is a internet thing, and a gaming thing, and these two don't usually point towards syntactic accuracy, but like a fucking DT the following thought crept up on me: "man they better fix that kind of stuff if TL's name is on the cover." I've become an self-righteous elitist when it comes to TL, and duly so. The standards are quite high. I recommend a quick break to clear the head before starting revisions, or passing it along to another non-involved reader (I volunteer!) to check for this kind of stuff. Best of luck and I look forward to no. 2! | ||

As a memo to everyone, if you want to get into the next edition be sure to watch your spelling, it may increase your chances! | ||
