he's been through hard times during this GSL, with his name being bashed for copying the emperor, underwent a nerdgasmic series against Kyrix.. whereas NesTea hasn't been under pressure as much (undefeated?).. one says a winner doesn't win until he loses.. and NesTea might get overconfident as he took out the fans' favorite emperor 4-0. ......... i really want to see protoss in the final..

While NesTea hasnt been under pressure as much, he has still played tough opponents. MS, TheWing, Zenio, and SlayerSBoxer. In fact, that he hasn't been under pressure is something noteworthy, as he played a lot of big names. Foxer also didn't have an easy role, taking out both finalists of GSL1, as well as SangHo and a red hot Kyrix. Should be interesting games. I will be rooting for Foxer, but both players are deserving of the title at this point.

Hoping ZergBong has some tricks up his sleeve planned, and I'm hoping FoxeR is super creative in dealing with them. We know FoxeR is going to do some insane builds, I think ZergBong will be able to read and adjust accordingly and again lead to awesome matches. Of course nothing would be more BA than for ZergBong to 4-0 thus going undefeated, but I want game 7 to decide it all. I think if FoxeR wins game 1 he takes the series 4-1, if ZergBong takes game 1 he wins 4-2.

But I'd say if he drops a game against foxer, he'll lose. In this tournament he hasn't had a single 'must-win' game in order to make it to the next round.. especially in the best of 5s and 7s he could have actually experimented, if he wanted. So if foxer wins the first few rounds, that puts nestea under a must-win situation, which he has never been in.. so considering that into the equation i think foxer's gonna come out on top.

A lot is going to ride on when ZB tries to expand, in the early game against FoxeR you don't necessarily need to outmacro him to win, you just need to survive his first few marine pushes. As long as he doesn't go hatch first, I think he'll be able to put up enough defense to just macro up and longplay his way to victory. Ultimately, I'll he happy with either player winning, I just hope neither goes 4-0 so we get to see a lot of matches between these hilariously skillful players.

But if he plays like he did vs Kyrix he doesn't stand a chance; he needs much more refined builds. Just throwing shit at NesTea, regardless of how well you micro, isn't gonna cut it. NesTea is on a roll and history has shown us what happens when Zerg players get some momentum.

Wouldn't you agree that not wanting to switch a strategy is an occurrence way to common among ex-BW pro's? Great stuff up there and made me actually give a damn about this upcoming finals. I'm rooting for NesTea ![]() No, they just don't want to admit defeat and try to actually make a strategy work, which most of the time are the ones that revolutinize everything. Before Bisu, everyone thought PvZ forge fe was fucking dumb and nobody used it even though it was there.

SOOOO OP." =/ Slash I love rooting for the underdog, and Foxer seems to be in that role just because Nestea hasn't dropped a game yet. Comeon no-one is that stupid. This guy is not just any Zerg he's an absolute monster. He demolished 2 good oGsZerg players, he beat Iron, proving he can beat Protoss too, and then SlayersBoxer. Not only did he manage that he didn't drop a single set doing it. But for some reason I'm not pumped to see him play. His games are almost forgone conclusions. NesTea makes some units, other guy makes some units, wait a bit, NesTea wins. So I wanna see FoxeR take this series in epic fashion. The kid has style, flair and uncompromising talent.
