Wait so they don't get collectors edition in Korea? Also I hope the NA version is in DVD not that it matters much just makes installation easier on my end, I remember when my WoW cd's came in 4's had to sit there and watch it to switch disc. That's pretty cool how they are going to get sc2 for free, they deserve it for pushing the sc franchise as big as it is.

WTF is with the 2nd (Orangy) plane? Don't they need to put some more info on the tail wing, or at least the KA logo (Pepsi)? It looks so messed up with "Blizzard" on the wing, but hey whatever roles.

I think the best thing would be having SC2 related stuff inside the plane. Not necessarily anything special, but maybe sc2 ad on the packaged food, or a little SC2 pamphlet in the seat pouch.
The coolest thing which would be really ownage is if they had SC2 playable in the first-class section of the plane - KA would get a whole lot more passenger requests! no?

It seems like blizzard wants their WoW players to devote their time and money to SC2 so now they'll have less time to play WoW, and a longer amount of time it takes for them to get bored of it. It also seems like they don't care about their SC1 community, just their larger, paying one. In the end, everything blizzard does seem to be for money

The Korean MMORPG market is dominated by Korean games like Aion. So it makes sense for Blizzard to couple SC2 with WoW in order to take back some of the market shares.

It wasn't he community that made them the money. It was the pricing scheme for WoW that made them that much money. Their SC fans are just as numerous and fanatical. But the pricing model for MMOs is just more profitable than the one for RTSs.

That’s the most effective game marketing strategy did the Blizzard did, IMO along the chance to play free if you’re a WOW subscriber. Coz the spread of news was spread so fast and comments where flood over forums even our warcraft gold (guild name), most of the time this is the conversation and envy our Korean guildmates.

I wanna be on that plain on my next visit at Korea.

Don't be naive. Blizzard is doing what Activision tells them and that is creating more WoW-addicts from those that play something other than SC2. Making every SC2 player posses a WoW subscription is a good incentive for WoW to be that other-than-sc game.

1. Sc subscription does not exist in korea, only russia.
