[TSL] Qualifier Schedule R1 / R2

Basic Pre-Match Procedure
All games will be played on ICCup Server with Anti-Hack ON, with LAN latency Chaos Launcher enabled. You will also download, install, and run a custom TL Anti-Hack program before your match. Players may not stream games in any way. Do not stream your games using Livestream or use the new ICCup replay broadcast feature. We reserve the right to penalize or disqualify anyone who is unable or unwilling to do any of these things.
Bo3 Map Selection:
Each player selects one of the maps from the pool to thumbs down. This map will not be used in the series. You will report this choice to the referee immediately before the series commences. If both players pick the same map to thumb down, the higher seeded player will pick another map.

Destination 1.1
Fighting Spirit 1.3
Outsider SE 2.2
Neo Tornado 2.1
For all other rules, including in-game conduct and post-match procedure, please read the "TL Players Handbook" pdf file that we will send to your designated email addresses.
ICCup Channel: Op TSL-HotBid
All players please use your ICCup TSL Account for identification purposes.
PLEASE ARRIVE 15 MINUTES BEFORE THE START TIME
Every 20 minutes late after the scheduled time will result in a 1 game loss.
Also, make sure to check the schedule for both days as your play time may be different for R1 on Saturday and R2 on Sunday.

Very nice stuff. I imagine it would suck hardcore if one of the West Coasters had to play at like 6 AM so props on the multiple time slots.

Hopefully the games will be streamed after the series is over by a commentator; I suppose it is necessary that the players can't stream themselves for obvious reasons.

All results and replays will be released immediately after each series is finished.
There will be an upcoming commentary contest with prizes for all games that are not broadcasted. The announcement for that will come soon.

Noon and then 9 isn't too bad (I will be getting up at 6 AM for some of this stuff, since I'm west coast T_T).
We made every attempt to account for the varying timezones people are in, and Nyoken being in Casper's group gives them a huge time difference, since Casper is over in Russia.

Some kind of a "best-of-casting" (like they do it for the StarLeague-Prelims) would be neat and provide a real great atmosphere.

Just out of curiosity are you guys testing the TL Antihack before the matches start? It wouldn't be good if a player couldn't install it or couldn't get it to function properly because they got the program on game day. It wouldn't be fair to be disco'd if its not compatible with a certain OS or processor or something.
Second question what is the program like? Would it be a chaos plugin that would be useful to have when we are on east that can detect hacks?

Yes, we are testing it. Last TSL it was used and there were some issues, but very few.
No, it is not feasible to mass use as a plugin. Thats all I can really say about it.

I am extremely dissappointed to hear this won't be streamed. I understand there can be cheating if it is streamed.
There is always the option of playing the games, then streaming the replays and not releasing results until all games have been streamed. It would get a bucketload of traffic for tlnet and coverage for pokerstrategy.

I'm pretty sure that none of the games will be streamed live, and will instead follow the method you suggest. Also, this casting contest and the inevitable release of the replays should make you feel better about the lack of a stream.

Yeah, sucks mainly for the West Coasters b/c they have to compensate for Europe / Korea times...
Nyoken's east coast though, I remember him being at the DC Lan a couple months ago ^_^.

I'm actually considering casting one of the games just for the lulz. It's going to be like one of those Tasteless casts, where he makes the wrong call and keeps changing his mind for the next 10 seconds then calls himself dumb -- only it'll happen twice a minute :D I'll name-drop as much as I can just to look like I know what I'm talking about.

Just put massive delay one the stream accounts for any attempt of cheating and it should be fine.

Okay, I don't mean to be a prick, but diggity does have a warm voice and he never stops talking (even when he hasn't got anything to say). That is not a good thing however. He puts me to sleep. A caster needs to convey excitement and bring insight. He's incapable of doing either. I'd really rather listen to a noobie commentator who isn't a noobie player.

Last time i looked i saw South Korea flags for them as well. Didn't make much sense. But looks better now ^^
