My vote goes to whoever has the soundest platform. Please campaign away. I would run for office this game, but i'll be out of town for a few days and you guys wouldn't want a slightly inactive sheriff/mayor.

I am hoping for plans like, "i'll have a bodyguard coordinate the specials so that I and the mayor get checked" etc. Not past achievements, but accountability, ways of advancing this game.

Right now, I like BC and semioldguy's platforms. I am still undecided though, and am going to give other candidates an opportunity to flesh out their platforms.

Regarding my voting behavior (which has been declared suspicious [I voted for SOG]) . . . Here is my breakdown of the candidates:
MBH = "big talker" guaranteed that his first two lynches would be on mafia. I would rather have a candidate with a plan than someone who makes promises that he can only reasonably perform on if he is in fact mafia.
Pyrrhuloxia, candidacy based on clue analysis. While clue analysis is great, and I like what he did with Pika Chu, clue analysis is very easy to fake, especially considering the many different ways clues can point.
SOG, came up with plans, was willing to argue with other people in the thread about their effectiveness, and also, importantly, says he is going to be very active because he just finished finals. That eradicates an excuse that has been used by many other players in the past, "Sorry, I've been so busy . . . that's why I'm not helping out."
BC, I also liked BC's candidacy, he came up with some plans. I was suspicious though of the initial support for BC, and thought it was lame that he was getting votes for things he did outside of the game (getting a mod to play).

So, that is why I voted for SOG. I think the most suspicious voters are the ones who voted for MBH. He said next to nothing, and gained support from his game history alone.

I realize it isn't much to go on at all, but I think Pika Chu's killer may be snet. snet's profile is empty so any clue against him would have to come from his name alone.

He saw someone walking up to him pull out a magnet which was pointed directly at the phone and was screwing with the hard drive.

Pika Chu's phone wasn't working . . . the network was being interfered with?

His opponent rolled him over and he saw the weapon, a trident, gleaming at him. Pika Chu tried to dodge the next attack but the weapon pierced his chest and killed him instantly.

In gladiator fights, there are certain weapon combinations, one such combination is the net and trident. I think this clue is better at pointing at snet than the phone "network" clue.

This clue set also made me think of Fishball. (His profile is also empty).
Sadly, my primary trident association is from "The Little Mermaid". Ariel's dad had a trident in that movie. Little Mermaid of course is a very fish oriented movie. Also,

Fishball rolling him over? Ball rolling.

I like the clue set pointing better at snet, but could be at Fishball.

My apologies for inactivity, I was out of town a few days. I plan to analyze the clues going forward, but I'll assume you guys have done a good job on the day 1 and 2 clues.

I am happy with the three dead mafia.
