Ok, I see what you're saying there, and agree with you. It's still a bad idea to ask others to lynch people based on a clue.

Regardless whether its a bad idea, SOMEONE must be lynched. If someone who is lynched has a clue that MIGHT point to them, then that is better than lynching some random townie.

Not always... using clues the first game hurt town quite a bit. But we'll see, the mayor will likely have to do it randomly. (minus his bodyguards of course. Can he lynch the pardoner?)

Edit: bolded a question I wanted read.

You seriously do remind me of Tracil last game. You just don't say "scum" as every second word.

Voting patterns is important as well. because most of the mafia members will lurk so you can't tell what they act like.

I'm being careful about throwing that word around, I don't want to start any false bandwagons by accident.

I haven't even accused anyone yet lol

Ace, I'm sort of curios as to what method you would use to lynch someone when you are (likely) elected mayor. I don't think it will change your election. Unless you say you are going to kill one of your voters, but unlikely. If its something that can't be shared yet then don't obviously.

I won't share it yet.

And yes it possibly can end up getting one of my voters killed, but I highly doubt it.

And if it does look like I'm going to win for sure, I'll post the strat on purpose as insurance that it works.

Yes, but if Emp is lynched after the mayoral election...we might be killing a dt...
edit:

Well, our mayor might be.

Ok, I just read like 20+ pages of this stuff. How is Empyrean getting this many votes? As many has said before me his roleclaiming really puts the town on the spot, and we are forced to either vote for him or protect him. A DT will probably even investigate Empyrean to confirm this, wasting another ability. Really though Ace and Empyrean have run away with the vote count, which is understandable regarding the former. But I can't help but feel that someone like randombum, who has so far said nothing brash and reckless, is better suited for the position as Pardoner.

Does it involve a random number generator ace? That will quickly get you lynched or lose your votes.

QFT. You have said some things that made sense, Ace, but you have also sounded fairly patronizing in many of your posts. At the end of the day, you haven't actually contributed that much more than anyone else. (I was taken by the bodyguard idea when you posted it, but Kau pointed out the flaw in it [as a standalone method].)

randombum, remember that I played in that short, SC based game last time. I was the one who DENOUNCED the random number generator.

I've got a much better idea this time around.

I can't help if I sound patronizing I guess?

We've already addressed the flaw, it was cleared up. If you've still got questions let me know asap, I'm about to leave here soon.

In case anyone actually cares about the clues, here are my thoughts:

Day 1
Clue: you get to taste lead for dinner
Suspect: Caller
Reason: Sig contains "lead" and other food items that could be related to "dinner"

Clue: either you're with us or you're permanently not
Suspect: unsoundlogic
Reason: Clue contains unsound logic!

Suspect: GrayArea
Reason: Clue lacks a gray area.

Clue: Sidewinder stumbled forward trying to stop the inevitable
Suspect: MidnightGladius
Reason: Sig contains "It's time to acknowledge the inevitable"

Clue: he was cut off by Mr. Blonde, coming out of nowhere it seemed
Suspect: CDRdude
Reason: Sig mentions lurkers unburrowing, which can "come out of nowhere" and cut armies off.

Suspect: Ninja4ever
Reasons: Ninja come out of nowhere! I think this connection is stronger than Dark Carnival does.

Clue: [Dapperdan] met [King Brown Snake] face to face halfway
Suspect HotZhot
Reasons: Extremely weak, but his name sort of fits the description. His profile picture is a half-covered face too.

Clue: Taipan Snake automatically knocked him to the ground and proceeded to kick him, being unarmed at the time.
This seems like two separate clues ("automatically" and "being unarmed"), but I can't fit either of them to anyone.

Clue: The Wolf approached "Sorry Chuiu, I gotta do this I hope you understand"
Suspect: CTStalker
Reason: Sig contains "I bear no grudge against you" plus the Wolf-Stalker connection. Credit to Dark.Carnival for this one - I think he's dead on. If we're going to lynch anyone based on clues, I think it should be CTStalker.
Of course, you only live one life, and you make all your mistakes, and learn what not to do, and that’s the end of you.
