For those who don't want to click the link, I'll summarize. LS gets pushed on his comment about the Darth/Cop interaction Rayn/Cop get LS to say the thinks that there's scum between Cop/Darth. After some more pushing, LS says that: Darth really made something out of nothing for no reason? This was your townread bro, the one you said was the same alignment as you. And after rayn and copcake pushed you about the Cop/Darth being townVmafia you flip and say Darth is now possibly scum? I'm just trying to work through this and here's where I keep coming back to the conclusion that LS is scum. He's got Darth as a townread. He says there's something off with DarthVCop. When pushed he says that it feels like TownVMafia (even though he initially said the interaction felt forced which is usually what people say when they're analyzing a MafiaVMafia interation). Once he says he feels one of them could be scum, he gets pushed on which one and he says it's Darth.... his previous townread. I'll give LS a point, Rayn did ask him to choose and then acted surprised when LS said he was "forced to choose" but at the same time it doesn't really matter because he still chose someone he was townreading previously without any real progression. Here's more status updates: I could be tunneled again, it happens. But the random suspicions, flip flopping of reads, and the apologetic town/updates ... it just feels to me that LS rolled scum again and is trying not to get caught so quickly this time. I'll even help you out since you are new. For the last several years, Chezinu typically just trolls for the first 24 hours of Day 1. He basically makes a bunch of posts to through information into the game. In the first few years of mafia on TeamLiquid, most players would discuss the setup and come up with a town strategy. Oftentimes debating whether blue roles should claim or not. After years of playing and a standard format arose, people stopped discussing the setup and started discussing meta. Chezinu realized years back that it doesn't matter too much what we talk about. He even wrote a blog called "House of Chez" on his playstyle. It involved having fun, which is the reason for playing mafia to begin with and catching mafia off guard. Mafia players are usually defensive when they first start playing. Natural human behavior. However, if they are having fun and talking about something else besides the game, their defenses drop. That's when you catch them. Another technique is to appear useless, so mafia can accuse you thinking that you are an easy lynch. When a new player is the first person to accuse Chezinu of being mafia, they were mafia 100% of the time. This is known as the Chezinu Rule and hasn't been broken despite playing on this forum for over 15 years. Anyways, I got carried away. The 24 hour troll period has ended. Chezinu has and will soon start the hunt. He is a reaction reader. In other words, he best gets his reads from interacting with player firsthand instead of observing from the distance. You have a mission now. Can you keep Chezinu from trolling too much this game? From experience, his sanity only last so longer before a microexpression of a smile emerges. And the troll burst out of him in laughter. Remember, meta changes and therefore Chezinu's playstyle changes. But there are core principles he follows.
