Interesting. I had like the exact opposite reaction as you.

Didn't even want to post my initial thoughts about his posts till more ppl were active just to see how others approached things.

I actually think it is. He doesnt tend to lie especially when roleplaying. I am not sure if other people caught the flavor "roleplay" between us but at least i am pretty sure Chezinu knows who i am and that translated to the real gameplay, he either doesnt know my alignment or wouldnt lie (imo) so in both of those scenarios he is town.
