And if you're okay with lynching him because he's probably mafia anyway (not sure about that), you should lynch Sentinel beforehand anyway. Absolutely everyone has a wonky role here but he happens to have a normal role? And his filter is terrible.

I agree with your analysis but I don't understand how it leads you to stay on KSC. Like if KSC converted people through jailing them, he could have picked way better people than Grack. That's not a question of different philosophies, it just doesn't make any sense from a mafia perspective.

It only makes sense from a townie perspective. KSC had a win condition about "Untangling lovers", grack stated he was in love so he targeted him.

KSC said he converted Grack a while ago. That's not the question; the question is "Is KSC the actual cultist, or was this a one-off power for a townie". His claim is his role was to "sync" two lovers, and Grack wrote he was in love so KSC targeted him without thinking too much about it. It sounds logical to me.

Also KSC admitted that upon rereading his role PM he probably converted Grack. Why would he admit this if he was the real cultist? No one had suspected that KSC was responsible.

Personally I think theres a real cultist but he probably has some heavy limitations. Maybe two converts maximum or unable to do something day 1 or something like that. I can't see hosts just leaving a cultist in the game with unlimited converts.

It just makes no sense why Kelsier would claim he converted him if he was actually the cultist (and probably bring suspicion to himself). And if you think he's the actual cultist and that's his real power, why would he pick grack in a million years. The explanation of his town role just makes more sense imo.

It's okay if you believe it. It just means you're probably mafia and we're fucked if Slam is too.

Yeah and imo it's almost certainly one of Slam, you, me, or FF. It's not me and both you and FF are voting for KSC, so this is just where the logic leads me.

And if you think KSC is mafia that means you think mafia has the power to remove players from the game. Oh and if you think he's the cultist they also have the power to convert that person to. That's incredibally imbalanced.

KSC claimed his role even before the whole debacle with the mathmeticians and 5 people dying, which completely changed the game. There's no way mafia knew what would happen (all mathematicians were town) and were preparing just "one more day". KSC is almost certainly not lying about his role.

I think you're reading too much into why people do or don't do certain things. Not everyone in this game is eager or wants to share all information about their role. In fact, that mindset is why we have a whole bunch of townies dead. It doesn't mean he's town, but it doesn't mean he's mafia either.

Let's say Sentinel, Vivax, and KSC are all scum. That's 3 scums, the ability to remove someone from the game, and the ability to convert someone every day. In a setup where town's are fighting other town's that's pretty intense. In fact, if we hadn't lynched scum day 2 it would already be GG (5 vs 4). If we had lynched a non-cultist scum it would be (4vs6). Either way is pretty unforgiving.

This is why I think it's extremely likely there might only be one scum remaining (now 2 with the converted). It also explains the loss of kp with the loss of just one person.
